This dentist was very helpful with my TMJ problem that no one else wanted to treat. She used to be part of the UCSF Dental School TMJ clinic before going into her own practice. She also saved me money and agony by doing a simple new procedure on a tooth that another Dentice had said needed a crown to stop the pain I was having.

Dr. Duffala is a very kind and caring doctor that takes the time to explain your situation. Her staff is is also very kind and courteous. However, I experienced a very painful appt. for a cap on a cracked tooth.

Best dentist I have ever had, I am extremely sad to leave her now that I have located to Chicago.

Dr. Duffala is the best dentist I've ever had. She is always careful to make her work the least invasive as possible and pays extraordinary attention to detail when restoring a filling (repeatedly checking your bite, etc.). I've now moved away and am looking for a new dentist. I'm truly sorry to lose her services. She's super.

She's been my dentist for nearly 10 yrs. Was recommended to me because I needed someone very GENTLE. She's never disappointed. Wonderfully personable and cautious. Also easy to get in for an appt., even if an emergency.
I've moved to E. Bay and have switched all other physicians/services. But I refuse to leave Dr. Duffala!

Great location, office is not state of the art, but certianly fine. my main problem with Dr. Duffala is that the treatment she performed didn't work - i'm still in pain after a few repeat visits, and I am switching to another dentist. She does, however, have a ver patient, communicative manner, and goes out of her way to explain what she is doing.

Dr. Duffala is not only a consummate professional, she has a personal and humanistic touch and a kind, caring, and attentive staff. My numerous experiences with Dr. Duffala have been as enjoyable as a dental visit could possibly be. I recommend her services unreservedly and enthusiastically. Even after I left san francisco, I still come back to the city for her services.
