I was so nervous to get a root canal. I'd always heard h0w painful and horrible they were. The assistant told me Dr. Ribera was very good, but I only half-believed her. Make no mistake, Dr. Ribera IS very good. I actually FELL ASLEEP during my root canal. I didn't feel a thing. Even the novocaine shot was painless. He explained everything to me and was super calm the entire procedure. If I ever need another root canal, I will consider no one else. Dr. Ribera is amazing.

I've had 2 root canals by Dr. Ribera - he's great at explaining what he's doing as he's doing it, which I appreciate.

About Front Desk: The office looks more like a think tank than a traditional dentist's office. Also, it's the first medical office I've seen that really takes advantage of information technology.

I went to Doctor Ribera years ago for my first root canal and it was a great success. Now my brother is in dire need of an endodontist and I will highly recommend Doctor Ribera to him. and if i need this procedure again, I'll return to Dr R.

My regular dentist referred me to Dr. Ribera for my first (and only) root canal. Dr. Ribera is very professional and skilled at his job. It took two visits to complete the procedure, but it was incredibly well done - so well done, in fact, that my current dentist complimented the work when she viewed the x-rays. At the time, the root canal was very expensive ($1250 for my back-most lower tooth, with three roots, in early 2003) and I imagine his rates are still very high. Nevertheless, I believe it was money well spent because the root canal has never come back to haunt me again. I don't think root canals are the types of procedures that one should skimp on. The procedure was relatively painless, and the office was equipped with (at the time) top-of-the-line equipment. Dr. Ribera was able to track the progress of his work simultaneously with the computer equipment. I can't speak of the insurance help because I had no insurance at the time. Overall Dr. Ribera is incredibly pleasant, friendly, and worked well with my regular dentist to coordinate the process!

Dr. Ribera did root canals on 3 of my teeth, excellent work, zero pain. I hope to never have another one, but if I do, I wouldn't let anyone else to touch it, Dr. Ribera is really top notch. The Xray machine he uses is the digital kind, so the radiation is minimal, and you see all the pictures immediately on computer screen. Very polite staff - both front desk and dental assistants. He is quite expensive and also does not participate in any insurance plans - you have to send in your own claims.

I went to Dr. Ribera for a root canal. Wow, what an experience. It was almost totally painless (the actual oral surgery) and there was little to no pain afterwards. Dentally speaking, I have been pretty lucky all my life.... 41 years old and no fillings! So when my regular dentist said that I needed root canal work on one of my molars all I could initially think of were all those stories that you hear from friends and family about the pain associated with such a procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Ribera. If I ever need a root canal again there is no doubt who I am going to go with. andrew archuleta
