I went for treatment of a sensitive tooth and ended up with a recommendation for 2 costly crowns--and no solution to my sensitive tooth. After the first crown I tried to explain that my bite was totally off but she refused to listen. I had to go to two other doctors to confirm the problem. I had trouble eating as my jaw was unaligned.I could not close my mouth completely. And the tension soon rippled down my neck, making it hard to turn my head. I am quite upset -- especially after forking out $4,000 for the crowns.
About Hygienist: Michelle was quite good, although beware the flouride treatment that left gummy spots on my teeth that would not brush off.

Dr. Irvin has been our family dentist for years. She is a lovely person and has a great manner. She is gentle with my kids and has show adaptabilty in adjusting to each child's personality in keeping them calm and comfortable while filling their teeth for cavities. This office is not primarily a pediatric dental office and there is usually only one hygenist who works on children and there has been a number of turnovers in that position: several were great, several were okay, and one I didn't like at all. My main complaint is that the treatments are expensive and I sometimes feel steared toward expensive options. In general I have been pleased with the kids' treatment, but my husband and I have been less pleased with our own treatment. We have both had crowns made (I have had multiple crowns ) by Dr. Irvin and both of us felt that the surface of the crown was off the original bite. I think this may have to do with the lab she uses.

Friendly dentist, nice facilities, and convenient location. However, she was very quick to recommend a procedure that none of my previous dentists had even mentioned once. Not sure if she's more interested in $$$ signs or what.
About Hygienist: Very thorough and gentle.

Dr. Ivin is excellent with the highest standards for the quality of the care that she gives. She is very gentle. She combines in depth dental knowledge with great hand skills -- the perfect combo for a truly great dentist.

Dr. Irvin is extremely kind, gentle and patient. She has a way of empathizing with me and making me feel extremely relaxed and confident in any procedure to be done. She always goes the extra mile to educate me and make me feel comfortabe --and she does amazing work!

I was referred to Dr. Irving during a time of complete frustration. Not only was the practice, environment, and office culture one of the best that I have seen, she was one of the most kind and polite persons that I have met.
The office was professional, yet very relaxing. My treatments were painless, timely and precise. I recommend Dr. Irving to everyone, you will be extremely pleased. That is a first class operation!
