I actually had my old amalgam fillings removed and replaced with the new sealant fillings. Not sure what the material is exactly, but they're no longer metal. This could be considered cosmetic because they look completely natural, but I wanted the amalgams out for many reasons. My understanding is that the amalgams are cheap and old school, these new fillings are less likely to crack your teeth. Very happy with the new fillings and Doctor Allison.

About Hygienist: I've had 2 different hygienists from this office clean my teeth. Never times it per se, but I don't go in a rush. My teeth are thoroughly cleaned every time.

I had an appointment and when I told them I preferred not to have bite-wing x-ray done every year opting to have it done every 2 years they informed me that if I didn't comply, because my last one was suspect, my appointment would be canceled. I have a dental professional in my immediate family in another state and I take excellent care of my teeth. I haven't had a cavity in over 7 years and am willing to take the 'risk' and wait the extra year to have it checked again. I am on a limited budget and haven't the funds in my budget this year for this and they are refusing service. They also make if more difficult for the uninsured patient to get regular care by refusing to take the Care Credit Card for less than $1000. I want to prevent that $1000 visit by going once a year. I am VERY disappointed in this office! One should ask a lot of questions before scheduling an appointment here! It seems it's all about the money and not the patient
