I had someone call Dr. Ritota for me late in the evening because I found myself in a lot of pain upon returning to college after having a tooth surgically extracted. He got me in first thing the next morning! I have a pretty bad fear of going to the dentist, but Dr. Ritota was very reassuring and good at helping me stay calm while he examined me, which he did very gently. It's rare to find a dentist who genuinely sympathizes and cares that his patient is comfortable. He also made the pain stop! He gives each patient plenty of time with him and is happy to hear you out and answer all your questions instead of just glancing at your teeth when the hygienist is done like most dentists do. I'd avoided going to the dentist for YEARS, but I have no fears about going to Delray Dental, and heck, I'd even be comfortable going there for routine cleanings and checkups.

They may specialize in dental emergencies and cosmetic dentistry, but the only reason we went there is because they were supposedly a Metlife Preferred Dental Provider. By the terms of that contract, they should have only charged us what Metlife says they are allowed to charge under the PDP fee.
They are refusing to return the 281.60 that they owe my daughter. They charged her $350 to extract a tooth and when Metlife said they were only permitted to charge 68.40, they didn't honor that contract with them. When we tried to discuss this with the dentist, he got belligerent and rude - including yelling at me.
Unless you like getting overcharged for them to take care of your dental needs and being forced to go through a complaint/lawsuit just to get the money back from them, I would steer clear of them.
