I recently changed dentists, being new to this area. Dr. Ben Joseph and his awesome staff are ones I would highly recommend. He just worked on my tooth that needed a crown. I’m a little squeamish ( not unlike a lot of people) to have dental work done. He was very good about explaining what he was doing, ensuring I was with NO pain or discomfort, so I give him very high marks. Plus I get the perm crown in only two weeks, so even quicker than some, I think. If you want a small practice with caring people, choose Dr. Joseph!

I'm 66 and in all my years of going to the dentist I never had any problem with a doctor taking pockets measurements, but I believe he was try to prove that I needed Novocain after I told him I don’t use Novocain. When he was done trying to hurt me by sticking that tool in my pockets forcefully he turned to me and said So you mean to tell me THAT DIDN”T HURT? If I didn't know better I would call that malpractice! I never went back to complete my session.
Three people in my subdivision stopped going to Dr. Joseph Benjamin because of issues with him.

As Dr. Joseph was performing a routine filling he drilled in too deep and caused me to have crucial pain. years later I find out that the filling performed has caused me large amounts of pain. I have seen 3 different dentists and all have said that I need a root canal done because of a "bad filling". He should pay the cost for my root canal.

great doctor, seems to be very professional. he is very informal. gave great advice. staff was nice also, seem to have new staff, but they were friendly, I was comfortable thoughout the entire procedures. the equipment seems to be up to date, the room was cool and the room was spotless. this office is a normal office, nothing really fancy about it. It was in a great location of the westside of jacksonville
