In looking for a new dentist ran across this office that allowed you to book an appt online. Looked at reviews and seemed people were happy with this office so decided to book the appt and try them out. The process was simple and found an appt that worked with our schedule. Filled out paperwork (HIPPA protected info as well as SS#). Showed up for the appt and was told they had no record of us! Did not offer to schedule anything and in fact was somewhat rude. Called to complain about losing HIPPA info and received a call back saying, 'Oh, they we found it.' Did they really find it? I don't know because I am not about to go to an office that treats people that way. I highly recommend that you think about how careless they were with my protected information before you do what I did and submit your information online where who knows can now find it.

Where to start. Took 4 visits to have a crown replaced. Each visit they asked for more money and apologized for the "mistake" when I challenged them on why I was being charged again. The front off staff (Dr. Harrison's daughter) was HORRENDOUS. I guessed that she must have been a family member because no office in its right mind would hire someone so unprofessional and rude. She tried to intimidate me when I questioned why each time I arrived they tried to charge me more money than the initial $1500 I already paid.

About Front Desk: If I could give this negative stars, I would. Dr. Harrison's daughter needs to learn some manners and customer service. She acted as if she was a mean girl in a sorority house staring me down in the waiting area and trying to intimidate me. If I wasn't there to finish a procedure that was already started, I would have walked out solely because of her behavior.

About Hygienist: Loretta (I believe she was more than a Hygienist) was AMAZING. If the office staff wasn't so terrible and the pricing wasn't such a ripoff, I would continue to see Loretta because she was just amazing.

Recently mi Ed to Jax beach and went to him. Last cleaning was within 6 months and everything was fine. Dr. Harrison and office found 12 yes 12 cavities that needed to be filled asap. Thought he knew what he was doing and had 6 filled. 2 days later a piece of tooth broke off, call d office and was told that it happens and treatment was a crown. Wanted 2 opinion and signed papers to have X-rays sent to my old dentist. This was in January. Saw my dentist and his office did not receive itching from m them. My checkup with my old dentist today revealed I had No Cavities and the tooth that Dr Harrison broke off can be filled. Dr. Harrison and staff became rude and defensive when questioned regarding the treatment plan. Especially the one dental assistant. Now, I have paid Dr. Harrison $1,500 dollars for fillings that did not have to be filled. Very upset regarding this matter

My most recent experience was excellent. I was seen right away with no delay. The cleaning was a complete treatment, totally pain free. Dr. Harrison was professional and caring completing his examination as a part of the cleaning appointment to ensure there were no other dental issues at this time. I have been treated by Dr. Harrison for many years. Including an excellent experience with Invisalign some years back. Very professional, personal care and excellent results!

About Front Desk: Always very professional and friendly. Reminders of your appointment ensure I don't forget my appointment. They handle all the paperwork. I recently changed insurance coverage and they already knew of this change and had called my insurers to make sure they were accurate with the coverage and any costs to me. Excellent as usual.

About Hygienist: Debra is excellent! Always professional but very personal in her approach. Efficient with my time, but thorough with the process. She even schedules the next appointment for you so you don't have to return to the front desk.

So this place is great… originally I called because I got some card in the mail and I already was way over due for a cleaning and needed to get a crown cap on since I got a root canal done but never knew a dentist here in Jax to do it. I live off first street so his office was super close so I walked on in and told the girl upfront what I needed. She was great, and was able to get me an appointment that week. So I first took care of the whole crown thing because I was already behind on that. I don’t have INS and Ive had a few crowns before and I gotta say, this is the best quality I’ve ever had.. and keep in mind Its my front tooth, I was glad he made it look like a real natural tooth not a silver cap like I have on a back tooth ( by a dif dentist ) .. thank you DR and staff for working with me and for the laughs back in the chair .

I hate the dentist! Everything about it makes me uncomfortable, from the prices and the pain to the multiple appointments it takes to fix one problem. So, when I found out I had a wisdom tooth coming in ( a couple weeks before I left for vacation) , I was preparing myself for the worst. Luckily, Rick Harrison is a regular at my restaurant . I informed him of the situation and expressed my stress about not having enough money OR time for this vacation with this tooth coming in. He assured me he would handle it. Sure enough, he penciled me in the next day. First off, this office is not only super clean, it looks like something out of a Sci-fi movie. All the equipment looked high tech and futuristic, totally up to date. They even have flat screen televisions,IN THE CEILING, for you to watch comfortably while you sit in the operating chair!!! The staff there is awesome too! The girls at the front desk are super friendly, and the dental assistants had me laughing the whole time I was there. Rick took care of my wisdom tooth, THAT DAY, and saved me tons of money. There was no pain in my mouth or my wallet and now I can go on my vacation. I HIGHLY recommend this practice!

About Front Desk: The girls at the front desk were so pleasant and helpful. Answered all my questions and even walked me through the Care Credit website ,step by step.

About Hygienist: The lady who worked with the doctor could have been a comedian on the side. I felt right at home.

I just moved to the Jacksonville beach area, so I called up Dr. harrison’s office to get established as a new patient, and also check out an old silver filling of mine. After getting my teeth cleaned, I got scheduled to come in to replace my old filling. I couldn’t be happier. The new filling matches my tooth color, no more tacky silver in my mouth!
