I had an exam after a cleaning. It was suggested I have a silver filling replaced. I went ahead and agreed to the suggestion. So the dentist, Celia Figueroa, proceeded and changed out the filling. After that I could not chew any food on that teeth. Pain was THROBBING on the side of my face. Cold air and warm foods made it worst, anything slightly cold. AIR against the tooth was so PAINFUL and to breathe. Went in a week later to see if the bite needed an adjustment, she polished the tooth. She explained if it continues to hurt come in a week later and she will put a sedative filling in temporarily, then to be stuck by more needles for a 3rd time to put back the filling again. By that time I would have no tooth left!! I explained to her with all my symptoms it seems that I need a ROOT CANAL now because she done a horrible job digging my tooth out to the nerve, she said over and over again no that I don't need one. I asked her "Are you sure the tooth is not fractured and did you see the nerve?" she said "No". For the entire month I had to take an Ibuprofen 800mg night and day the pain was so excruciating. I was not about to be an experiment in her chair and let her sedate my mouth again to put in a sedative filling, then sedated a 3rd time to finally put in another filling in the same tooth!!!The 1st time around she didn't even wait for me to get numb as soon as she injected the numbing medication she began to drill and I cried out twice, until she got an attitude and said "oh we going to have to wait a few minutes". Which should have been done in the first place! When I explained to office manager she had an attitude herself and stated "most patients as soon as they are injected with numbing medication it's okay to begin drilling right away and that is a complete lie. I have never sat into a dentist's chair and as soon as I'm injected they begin, they always walk away and gives your body time to numb. I got a 2nd opinion and the new dentist told me I needed a ROOT CANAL did all the tests to see. Plus I had the excruciating pain for an entire month. I'm so disappointed that they got my money and made me end up losing a tooth. STAY AWAY unless you want to end up with a root canal or an extracted tooth! Good luck.

My wife and I have a been a patient at this dentist office for about a year, I recently called to cancel all of our future appointments and we will certainly NOT be going back to see Dr. Figueroa. This office is a complete joke for the lack of a better word! There was never a time that my wife and I made an appointment that wasn't canceled/rescheduled we were always told that the doctor had an emergency. We are very understanding individuals as we have children and full time jobs, we even understand that things come up but, there is definitely a lack of professionalism. When you make an appointment you expect to be seen within a reasonable time one can even understand that perhaps the patient seeing the doctor before you requires a little more time than the next patient waiting to see the doctor but, 2-3 hours is not acceptable if the patient is coming in for something that is not routine then adequate time should be reserved for that patient to avoid those kind of things because everyone’s time is valuable. In-addition I have heard and witnessed Dr. Figueroa bickering with her employees. SHAME ON HER! At the end of the day keeping patients happy is what makes an office successful! We were not happy and not valued as patients.

About Front Desk: The receptionist who claims to have been working at this office for a while is not knowledgeable, lacks patience, and her customer service skills are non-existent.

About Hygienist: The service provided was Mediocre
