Took my son to have tooth extracted and they charged me for an X-Ray that was not needed. Lied and said they needed to pull other teeth to get to the infected tooth. When i said i didnt want the other teeth pulled. The Dr left the room, started working on another patient and refused to pull his tooth, But, still charged me $150

RIP OFFFFF.....Started out nice, then as I was sitting in the exam chair I hear assistant on her cell /personal call going on and on about how she couldn't place "the order" because she was sooooo broke???? Then Dentist came in looked at my mouth for a total of 65 seconds (I was counting) said I needed a root canal and 2 caps then left the room. I wanted a second opinion so I called and asked to have my digital x-rays sent to another dentist office and they wanted to charge me $50. I wasn't sure if this was a standard charge so I did a little investigating; out of the 4 dental offices I contacted they are the only ones that have a duplication fee, to send digital x-rays to another office. Honestly 1 star is giving them way too many. Dental work is costly enough, why nickle and dime people.

Dr. Jimenez was in the lobby when I entered and greeted me. His staff was there, but encountered no other patients the entire time I was there. I was not very impressed with his bedside manner and he seemed to be in a rush, although there was no apparent reason for this, and I believe he left immediately atter he finished with me. Most unsettling was the fact that, although the staff took several x-rays of my jaw, I was shown none, nor was I told that the doctor had reviewed them. This would be a glaring omission, in my opinion, and I have my doubts as to the legitimacy of the examination. Wht the doctor did do was to quickly say how bad my teeth were and recommend much work, but he did not back any of his recommendations up with x-ray imagery. My teeth do appear to be cleaner, but I've had a great deal of sensitivity to cold that began after I left Beneva Dental yesterday. I am hoping that it will get better and not worse in the coming days.
