I love Dr almaguer and his staff they are all very friendly and professional! I had a lot of cavities that i had to have fixed and was so nervous, but my experience was excellent! The injection was painless and that is a big deal because i like many am deathly afraid of needles. He has miracle hands. The treatment was done in a jiffy I didnt have to wait in the waiting room or the treatment room. I did not have insurance and rather then taking advantage of that the staff was nice enough to give me info on an insurance they offer through Humana which cut the cost in half. I love this place and deeply reccommend it. It also says a lot about the office with the fact that they dont advertise and all of there patients are by word of mouth.

About Front Desk: Also very professional! Very friendly always smiling!

About Hygienist: Very professional excellent at his specialty

Hygiene time: 30

Visited this dentist over 20 years ago...Was so happy my job provided dental insurance and I was quick to use it! Big mistake. My year with Dr Almaguer ended with 8 root canals that he said I needed. Problems started 4 years later with one of the root canals failing. To add insult to injury the absess of the root canaled tooth was acknowledged and I was given a $35 bill for that service. Never went back. Had an apicoectomy which did not resolve the problem and the tooth (molar) ended up being removed. Over the next 10 years 5 more of his root canals failed, and had 2 more of those teeth (molars) removed. Tomorrow morning I start the first endodontic treatment of 3 more failed root canals (bottom front teeth) which I have ignored till they can't be ignored anymore. That makes so far a total of 6 out of 8 root canals that have failed. My advice, get a second opinion before having any work done.

I had been seeing Dr Almaguer for years every 6 months with xrays every year, he missed an abcess even though I had a lump last year. He filled a tooth incorrectly that resulted in decay. He missed 3 decay spots that endodontist said had to be there over a year. And he missed a crack even though I complained of pain in the tooth for 8 months. The result of his mistakes thousands of dollars, 3 root canals and a crown lengthening. I am considering legal action and have fired him.
