Dr. Stackhouse was WAAAAAY beyond unprofessional. He was inexplicably verbally abusive and argumentative--the moment I sat in the chair!! (Oct-2010). I am having my teeth extracted, and dentures made. When I tried to explain to Dr Stackhouse that I'd had an abscessed tooth, and would like that tooth removed (I only have one appointment per month, and did not want to risk another abscess, thus another round of antibiotics) he rudely told me that "patients who ask questions turn out to be poor patients". He repeated that every time I opened my mouth to explain further, cutting me off. After he'd extracted two teeth, I tried to ask if he was going to take out the tooth I'd had a problem with and he went off on me about how he can't satisfy me and told the nurse to find another dentist to treat me. He seemed to be far to emotionally involved, and highly unstable, and his belligerent attitude was off the charts, was scary and smacked of misogyny. Somehow I can't see Dr Stackhouse talking to men this way. I also wonder if he's a racist (reverse discrimination), as it was at the health dept. I would love to record here every word that he said to me, but not enough space allowed. I am reporting him the the American Dental Association.
