Dr. Boyd was my husband's and my dentist before we moved to Portland, Oregon. Here in the Portland area, I am getting compliments from dental professionals for the work he did on a bridge for the lower right side on my mouth.
Dr. Boyd did not press me to get the bridge that I needed when my dental insurance carrier would not approve the work. But when the work was suddenly approved, he immediately made time to do the work.
Dr. Boyd was able to create a fixed bridge spannng 1-tooth to replace 2 molars I had lost and to cap the teeth on either side. What a saving for both me and my dental insurance carrier!
Dr. Boyd and his staff were very good to my husband, Bill, as well. Since Bill is a tuba player, he needs to keep the shape of his mouth the same. And change affects the sound he makes when he plays his instrument. Dr. Boyd kept this in mind whenever he worked on Bill's teeth.
Dr. Boyd and his staff make sure their work is painless. They wait until the patient is completely numb from the anaesthetic before starting work. They are thoughtful, caring and very skilled.
Dr. Boyd and his staff treated us like friends. A trip to see them was a delight no matter what work was planned.

Wonderful staff and chairside manner.I had two root canals/crowns done by Dr. Boyd after a few years of neglect by me.Dr. Boyd was understanding,kind and virtually painless as he worked diligently to fix my teeth with complete success.All staff are friendly,professional and helpful.Highly recommend Dr. Boyd and staff to anyone needing an outstanding family dentist.
