He has terrible phone ettiquette. He's too cheap to hire someone in his practice to take his appointments. Beware. Stay away!

I only saw Dr. Brinkman a few times, but I am switching dentists because I just don't feel very comfortable going there. He does have a lot of experience, yes, but that also means that he is in his 70's and his office isn't exactly state-of-the-art. In fact, the outdated and less than pristine look of the office doesn't instill a lot of confidence. He is also wary of new patients; I had to reassure him when I called (and yes he answered the phone himself) that I was really going to show up, but he didn't seem to believe me. I also didn't find him to be very gentle at all; during one procedure his arm was actually resting on my face. He's a competent dentist and doesn't charge a lot, but I would not recommend him to my family or friends.

Dr. Brinkman is a fabulous dentist! He is very smart and explains what he is doing when he does my fillings. He does a perfect job with my fillings, xrays, etc. He is also very sanitary which is very important to me.
