I recently relocated to the Woodstock area, and have been searching for a new dentist and doctors. I was referred to Dr. Byrd's office by a dear friend. Both the dentist and his staff came highly recommended. When I arrived for my appointment, they did not disappoint. I was greeted by able and courteous staff, and when I was escorted to my room I was well taken care of. Dr.Byrd took his time to explain everything that he saw during his exam, and all treatment possibilities. He had his insurance specialist check with my insurance plan and see if I would have any co-pays, and if so how much they would be. Thank you Dr. Byrd and staff! I have found my new dental home.

About Hygienist: My dental hygienist and her assistant were very knowledgeable, thorough, and gentle when they worked on me. My teeth look and feel great and I have never been happier. Thank you Michelle and Melissa! See you in six months.

This practice is clean and all equipment is state-of-the-art. Dr. Byrd and Dr. Kim are pretty awesome and their work looks great. All of their staff are very friendly and helpful.

About Hygienist: I take my children to Byrd Dental Group in Woodstock for their cleanings and check-ups. The hygeinists at this practice are very friendly and knowledgeable, making me and my girls feel completely comfortable and at ease. My oldest daughter loves Michelle and enjoys talking with her and my youngest doesn’t even bat an eyelash as she is totally taken with Melissa’a animated personality! I wouldn’t dream of taking my girls any place else!

Please beware I need a cleaning and I have insurance my cleaning was $250 out of pocket. I called my insurance company and they told be not to go back there. My so called deep cleaning should have been free they charge you all this xtra money for stuff you dont need. Please be careful when you go here and the dental hygenist is very rude. She gets an attitude when you dont want to pay for something or you question something. She is also very rough when cleaning your teeth.

I had a cavity filled and a crown put on the same tooth, I had pain in the tooth and I told them but they said it was normal, 6 mon later I moved to another dentist because of the new hygienist (she was VERY rude) my new dentist said that they did not get everything out and now I have to have a root canal I know that it is still covered by the 1 year warranty but I would not EVER go back to this office so I will just have to pay again and have it done right this time.

About Hygienist: I would have to warn everyone not to visit this office because the hygienist they have (and they only have one) at the Douglasville location is the rudest person I have ever met. I told her when I went in that I have sensitive teeth and to please not spray the water right on the tooth she got mad and left the room a few min later she came back and said I can't clean your teeth if I can't touch them. I told her I didn't say don't touch them I only asked you not to spray the water on my teeth because it hurts she looked at me and said well I want be cleaning your teeth anyway but I will look so open up she looked in my mouth for about 3 sec. did not even touch me teeth and said you need a deep cleaning I am not cleaning your teeth, I left very upset because she was so rude I knew she was wrong so I went a new dentist and he said that there is no way I need a deep cleaning.....imagine that

expensive,,,ok work,,but like a tooth factory, it is like they just want you in and out you are just a number

I was advised that I had periodontal disease and that I would need a rather expensive cleaning. I got second and third opinion and was told I don't have periodontal disease. Also he put a temporary crown on one of me teeth and left a hole in the tooth in front of it, his explanation was that he was prepping it for txt at later date. I went somewhere else and had a temporary filling put in until I can find a new dentist. However he has great bedside manner.

While Dr. Byrd's office staff in the past has been less than efficient, lately they have been very attentive. Dr. Byrd is always pleasant and caring.

This was the worst dental experience that I have ever had. My 12 year old daughter and I went in for regular checkups. The staff was extremely rude. The doctor did not have a good "bedside"manner at all. I got out of the chair ask for my records and left. Our first visit will be the last. The doctor is actually located in Woodstock, GA on Towne Lake Pkwy.

Stay away from this dentist! He is bad news. Office staff is the rudest I have ever had with a dentist. He is not very good with patients-has trouble relaying things in layman's terms. I had a disastrous result with a crown he did and wound up having to have extensive restoration done.

I have had serious issues with the treatment Dr. Byrd has provided. I agree with everything the other reviewer posted. He is out to make money-plain and simple. His office staff is the rudest, most unhelpful group i have ever experienced in a doctor's office. Avoid him at all costs.
