I have been goin to Dr.Pinsky’s office since I was young. In the beginning my experiences have not been that bad, however, the past two experiences have been ABSOLUTELY horrifying. I would not wish an experience that horrid on anyone. When I was around 17 years old, I received a root canal and all I was aware of was a regularly scheduled checkup. To make matters worse, I felt EVERY SINGLE PART of it! I had gotten a numerous shots yet still felt it all. He never once asked me if I was okay or if I needed anything. I didn’t go to the dentist again until I was 23 because I was so traumatically scarred. The only reason I did go was because the tooth that he did a root canal on, happened to be the tooth that feel out; I also had other issues on the other side of my mouth. Before actually going to the back and getting into the chair, I addressed the issue I had the last time I came on the information sheet. When he came in, he was EXTREMELY RUDE and unprofessional. When I politely tried to tell him what the problem I had was, he actually used the words “whatever” to me. After we then went tit for tat until I finally told him I would let my teeth all rot and fall out before I EVER came to him again.

About Hygienist: never wants to actually hear REAL complaints

Evaluation and treatment plan for front tooth crown and root canal. Very calming manner and very thorough. Accepted my discount dental plan and a good price for all the work I needed to have done. Staff was very cordial and accommodating--even sent a welcome letter. Dentist offered flexibility in being able to do both the root canal and crown the same day. I would recommend this dentist (he is a member of the GDA and ADA and Hinsman Dental Society) to anyone seeking quality care at a competitive price.

dr pinsky is a great dentist. but be forewarned: don't be late. the front office staff are scolding and patronizing. it is not a good place for moms with small children, or for anyone whose schedule tends to vary at the last minute.

I went to Dr. Pinsky on a friend's recommendation because he accepts certain dental insurance, including that of my employer, as full payment even when some of the claim as filed is denied by the insurer. I was initially very pleased with my decision. He took me on short notice as a first time patient for dental pain and I ended up needing a root canal -- my first, and it was not nearly as bad as I had feared it would be. Dental cleanings that followed were unremarkable but completely fine. I also had a couple of teeth filled with no incident. Then I needed two more root canals and I had a *great* deal of trouble. Dr. Pinsky could never get my mouth dead enough so that I couldn't feel pain. Apparently this phenomenon was related to a sinus infection I had at the time. Nevertheless, due to the extreme discomfort, I switched to another dentist. If you are just looking for cleaning and incidental procedures, I fully recommend this dentist. His staff is pleasant and accommodating.

The staff at Dr. Pinsky's office are pleasant and friendly. Dr Pinky has a wonderful "chairside" manner!

A few things I didn't like about Dr. Pinsky was that he was unfriendly and impatient. He didn't seem to be a caring dentist. I felt he just wanted to get his patients in and out as soon as possible. Actually out of all the dentist I have been to, he was the worst I ever experienced physically. I didn't like the fact that when he injected numbing medication he didn't wait for it to kick in. When he started to drill my tooth, he asked if it still hurts, when I said yes, he gave me a second dosage which completely numbed the entire half of my face. Luckily my mom was there to drive me home. I barely was able to talk and to use my left eye bec my eyelid was barely open. I was really disappointed with what I had to go through just because he wanted to hurry me out of there. The second thing I didn't like was his smart remarks about questions I had. Never went back to that doctor again.

Fabulous! I had to have a root canal and crown and both were painless. (Unlike other procedures I've had with other dentists in the Atlanta area.) He is great and so are his assistants.
