I recently moved to the Arlington Heights area and weirdly chipped a tooth just afterward. I called Dr. Cavers and they got me in in a few days. But even though the office was not bad, the filling the dentist used to fix the chip actually fell off in less than two weeks time!!! This left the chip larger than before. When I called back I was told they would have to charge my insurance twice and that I would have to do another co-pay. The doctor also tried a cock and bull story about my having teeth grinding issues (I am 36 years old have lived in three states and have never been told this before by any other professional). There was no evidence of this, so when he suggested filing down my bottom teeth to prevent future breakage issues, I thought he was incompetent at best and probably looking for more money at worst. I take a dim view of someone who messes up on their repair work then blames the patient and unethically charges multiple times for the same service. Seems kind of scam-like, and very wrong. Don't go near this guy.
About Front Desk: Rude and don't seem to understand billing.
About Hygienist: She talked about hockey the whole time and did not even introduce herself. Quite bad...

When I moved to the area I asked a friend for a good dentist , I been seen by Doctor Cavers ever since . They don't overbook so your appointments are timely .The dental hygienist is thorough and knowledgeable .I've never had to get involved with the insurance it's all handled. I had old fillings replaced , bridge work And any concerns addressed . It's not a razzle-dazzle show it's pure customer service and know-how .

Dr. Cavers is the best! I was phobic of dentists due to some really poor service in the past. Dr. Cavers immediately puts you at ease, is completely honest with his assessment, and tells you what he is about to do. No surprises! I am always relaxed when he is doing his work and trust him completely. He is experienced and knowledgeable and is ALWAYS cognizant of whether you are in pain or if something causes any discomfort. I've had 3 fillings and had complete x-rays and a cleaning, and it's the best place I've been. Every staff member is friendly and at ease. The hygienist did a great job and my teeth practically sparkled! They were excellent in pursuing my dental insurance payment and managed to get a procedure covered that was initially denied. I am so thankful I found Dr. Cavers and his staff. When I finish a couple more procedures, I will gladly go in for normal check-ups and have healthy teeth for the rest of my life. Thank you so much!
About Hygienist: She was friendly and put me at ease. My teeth have never felt so clean and she took her time to ask if I had questions, etc.

Dr. Cavers has been my dentist since he began his practice in the early 1980's. My family has very problematic teeth and I had been dental-phobic. I have found him to be gentle, patient-focused, but extremely technically competent. He has done root canals, crowns, emergency procedures, and three partial dentures for me over the years.
I am extremely happy with his work and continued to travel back to him after moving out of the area. I have referred a number of friends, family, and dental-phobic clients over the years and will continue to do so.
Also, I have never had dental insurance but Dr. Cavers has always either worked with me on the cost if it is a problem for me or offered a no-pressure payment plan.

In my 10 years as a patient, Dr. Cavers has provided absolutely superb dental care in my somewhat complicated procedures including extractions, crowns, and plates.
A couple of observations:
He is genuinely concerned about the patient's comfort both during treatment and afterward - "pain free" would be accurate.
Dr. Cavers is a most congenial fellow, and this as well as his expert skill and notable compassion are carried on by his first-class staff.

I found Dr. Cavers to be very professional, yet relaxed which kept me at ease. He is conservative in his approach and presents all options when discussing treatment. The dental hygienists are the best!

Dr. Cavers corrected my front teeth with a bridge...He corrected my teeth that were damaged years ago by a terrible dentist Dr.Yahav.

Wonderful man! Friend to everyone! I would never go anywhere else. I am the biggest chicken when it comes to dental work, but he always relaxes me and makes everything ok!

Dr. Cavers is very friendly! He asks plenty of questions to make sure you are comfortable. Great location, plenty of parking. I have no worries coming to see him!
