I took my 4 year old daughter to this dentist and I was shocked by the lack of professionalism of Dr. Jack Yi. My daughter was acting as a normal 4 year old, she was fussing a little not very happy to be lying back with her mouth open. I thought she was doing a good job if I thought she was misbehaving I would have disciplined her. As the doctor started cleaning with the machine that makes a lot of noise she moved and Dr. Yi literally SCREAMED "LAY DOWN" "DON'T MOVE” in her face. Of course she started crying hysterically and he continued to yell at her saying "I'LL MAKE YOUR MOMMY AND DADDY LEAVE THE ROOM IF YOU DON'T STOP CRYING". I was and am completely in shock and disgusted by this doctors behavior. I said to him no wonder why people hate dentist. It’s no surprise to me that people hate dentist when one of the first experiences they have with a dentist is them screaming in their face. I have never in my life had anyone let alone a professional doctor scream at my daughter this way. I immediately came home and wrote this review and I encourage people to stay away from this dentist. I don’t think he has the professionalism to be handling adults after seeing this outburst and he should definitely be nowhere near children.

I have complete faith in Dr. Yi. He is honest and pain free.
He has performed several crowns and fillings pain free. He is very attentive and accommadating to the patients needs.
I have since moved and still come back to Chicago for my dental needs with Dr. Yi.

If you complain he's not interested. The receptionist has a nasty attitude and they make you feeling like no matter how poor the results are you should just go on because they tell it looks good., no matter how you look. I wasn't satisfied with my results and felt I needed some adjustments and the receptionst saidl now what's wrong, as if I hadn't just paid Dr. Yi, nearly two thousand dollars.
