Called to reschedule due to kid being sick. Got charged a cancellation fee. I will not be back

I have followed Dr. Ruelas for years. I believe his work is great and if I ever have a problem or concern - he takes care of it. His staff is great. Everyone seems so happy and caring.
About Hygienist: I believe their names are Brenda and Mandy - they are both GREAT!!!!

Dentist and staff were very professional and personable. Dentist was very profecient.

I had a horrible experience. Doctor condescending & didn't listen to me. First my temp crown fell off after 1.5 hr. Dental
Hygentist put back on, great, like her. Then perm crown; I told him "too tight". He cemented on & left room. Never asked how I felt. Bite off; went back for one adjustment. Dr rolled eyes, adj, then left room. Over the next few days bite got more off; couldn't eat. 2 weeks later, tooth abscessed & root canal done. Needless to say WILL NOT be returning!! NOT RECOMMENDED!!
About Hygienist: Great on initial visit. Not caring when I got ill-fitting crown. Front office staff has rude attitude.

Not recommended.
Doctor condescending & doesn't listen or care. Put on crown, threw bite off. Over next week bite got worse. 2 wks later tooth abscessed & root canal. Bite off, can't be fixed. Messed up for life.

I wouldn't go anywhere else. This is a great office....Dr. Ruelas has done lumineers and made a wonderful smile. I was so happy with the results. Later on I had to have an implant on a back tooth that was extracted years ago. I was a little nervous but now I am so happy I did it....I would go to his office in a heartbeat!!!!

I initially went to this dentist for a cleaning, and I was very pleased with the work. I subsequently went there for fillings and a root canal. My daughter went for a cleaning and my dad went there for denture repair. Following is the overall experiences we had with this dentist:
I was pleased with the cleaning, but my daughter was very upset with the cleaning she got. The hygienist was talking to another employee the whole time and never even spoke to her and my daughter felt she wasn't really paying attention. Lots of gossip talk and giggling, very unprofessional. I also experienced this type of behavior. Pardon my bluntness, but most of the office staff act like bimbos much of the time. Dr. Ruelas has a horrible patient communication. He also has a habit of talking to the staff about social stuff while he's working on your teeth. Also, I like medical professionals to tell me what they are doing and why they are doing it, but he doesn't do that. The ONLY time he was pleasant to me was when he sold me on buying a night guard that I really didn't need because I don't grind my teeth! Then they tried to charge more than we agreed on. My elderly father disliked him too. He glued his dentures to his teeth to solve a looseness problem
About Hygienist: Beverly was great, but my daughter had another hygienist who talked to one of the other staff the whole time, wasn't even paying attention to what she was doing and didn't explain anything to my adult daughter at all.
