Dr. Boydston has been tremendous in his providing dental care to me. He is realistic in his approach to dental care and ALWAYS has his patients interest forefront when recommending and providing treatment recommendations. He was able to make me proud to smile again after many years of living with crooked front teeth. He was able to not only repair my damaged crowns, but in the process do some basic cosmetic work with the crowns providing me the appearance of straight teeth. Recently I was out of town and knocked a front crown and the tooth out. He had me come in on my day back in town on Thursday and was able to complete a root canal in the morning, and late in the afternoon had me come back to build the tooth up to accomodate my crown. He volunteered to come in on his day off to complete my dental work if it could not be done that afternoon. I came in late in the afternoon and he was able to complete the work. I was going out of town of Friday and a work presentation on Monday. I can't thank him and his entire staff enough for always coming to my rescue. My husband and son also see Dr. Boydston, as a family, we couldn't be happier.

About Front Desk: Maetta has always been able to help me out in a bind when setting up emergency appointments. She also is a "great" front line to my dental emergency needs. She is very proficient in insurance filings. She helps keep the office running smooth.

About Hygienist: Very good, gentle and thorough in her dental care.

I have had just about every procedure except cosmetic dentistry. Treatments were a success, not a lot of pain, have insurance help with cost. Chair-side manner very good and I would recommend Dr. Boydston to others Dr. Boydston is

About Front Desk: Mette is the front desk help. Very personable, great people person, and very helpful. I had a problem concerning my billing, but put my concern on the survey because I did not want to take up her office time. After reading my survey, Mette called me early the next morning to explain my billing question, and I am thoroughly satisfied with the explanation. Mette told me that anytime I have a question please feel free to talk with her while I am in the office. She said that she will always be happy to answer and questions from me before leaving the office. She does her job well. If you have any questions before leaving an appointment just ask her and she will take care of your answer before you leave. Very helpful with insurance matters.

Dr Boydston and his team have taken very good care of my over the last several years I have been with them. Always a positive experience there, even when, as dental work sometimes goes, things do not always go smoothly. They are professional and yet personal and very friendly: I always feel welcome. Insurance issues handled efficiently. Metta and Jeannie always are pleasant and interested in how I am doing. Dr B is great: efficient yet pleasant and winsome.

The negative review completed by someone named (John Doe) is obviously an attempt to harm or tarnish Dr. Boydston’s dental practice The comments of John Doe are the smackings of someone who’s eaten a five (5) course meal at a restaurant, and now they don’t want to pay, so they complain about the meal to avoid the balance due. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Boydston for over 25 years. During this period of time, after witnessing his works, my family members, friends and numerous individuals within the community, including John Doe have discovered by word of mouth that Dr. Boydston is a highly skilled dentist. Subsequently they too selected him as their dentist. Contrary to John Doe’s unsubstantiated allegations Dr. Boydston’s dental practice utilizes modern state of the art digital X-ray , and dental equipment, offering the latest in technology and modern dental services. He’s ahead of the game. Most importantly Dr. Boydston uses adaclave sterilization system for his instruments to protect his patients against infections whereas most area dentist don’t. The dental office’s décor is band new and rated fabulous. Shame on you John Doe.

We've had crown installations in the past year by this dentist and all have had to have subsequent root canals done at a cost of $1,000 to us per tooth. Boydston is a grumpy old man, and is focused entirely on billing services and collecting revenue. He is only remotely focused on customer satisfaction. His office and lobby has outdated equipment (still uses X-rays, and not digital cameras), and it is clear from his advancing age, he is just focusing on saving money for his retirement, and not reinvesting in his business. After my wife's last crown installation, he refused to see her again when she complained of advancing pain. Don't waste your time and money with this cantankerous old man, with his zero interpersonal skills with patients.
