I Have been using the services from Dr.Torres for ten years, Every time he has done excellent job. And he is very friendly and polite, has great personality. Recently I had the dental emergency ( my front tooth broke). In spite that he was about to leave the office for Labor Day holidays, ( I called practically last minute), he was nice nice enough to take me in and did excellent job as usual. Thank you, Dr. Torres!

beginning yrs were ok. Last couple of yrs his overall care has been unbelievably poor. I've asked numerous times for full x-rays so that we can set up a dental plan as I have much decay. He never followed through with this.I went in w/ tooth pain 3 months ago. I'm 32 yrs old & was given a temporary pre-fabricated stainless steel crown that's meant to be used on kids about 12 yrs old. It never did fit right, causing my tooth to abscess. He drilled so closely to my gum that a chunk of it was sore & simply GONE! He admitted to me that he hit my gum with his DRILL causing it to do that. He's done that to my gum one other time as well. It's only been 3 months & I already have decay AGAIN where the child sized crown he put in doesn't reach my gum line.& Because he repeatedly put off my request for full mouth x-rays & my attempt at trying to establish a dental plan with him I now must see specialists & spend at least $9,000 on root canals & crowns in order to TRY & keep my teeth! With all new work I still have no guarantee that my teeth are even able to be saved. I'm shocked by his refusal to do the absolute minimum required by a general dentist. He would not even perform fillings on teeth that were clearly decayed. This is just 1 example.

About Hygienist: Last time I went in for a teeth cleaning. Hygienist told me she wanted to save me $ by doing a VISUAL exam.I expressed concern about the decay in my back molars. She told me they were just fillings NOT decay I was seeing.THAT WASN'T TRUE. Dr. Torres told me much later they were badly decayed. Now I need root canals & fillings there. On my last appt Dr. suggested I go to a sliding scale dental facility because my mouth needed so much work. I've always paid on time. I wouldn't need so much additional work if they did the job I payed them to do in the first place.

In three visits, procedures have included teeth cleaning, a filling and a procedure that involved cleaning/cutting the gums where they meet the teeth to allow for treatment of decay. Everyone was friendly, but a little prone to nag. I had some questions about the need for the latter treatment that I mention above. Would recommend to someone who is looking for a "better safe than sorry" approach. The facility appeared up-to-date and was comfortable, both in the waiting room and the exam room.

Great man to deal with. The entire staff was very helpful in working around my tight schedule. I would highly recommend him if you are in need of a dentist.
