The only doctor that I would ever see to have a root canal ( or any other endodontic treatment). Dr. Adamo is a patient man, that explained every step of the procedure in a warm and humorous way. My root canal was a painless success. I would and will recommend him to everyone that I know. He is everything a dentist should be - patient, kind, caring and knowledgeable. I couldn't ask for more.

I was referred to Dr. Adamo by my dentist when it was discovered that I had a crack running across the top of my left lower rear tooth with the possiblity of a hairline crack continuing down the internal canal wall. He needed to evaluate my tooth as to whether it could be saved and, if that was possible, he would attempt to save it. He took great care to explain the options I had regarding possible outcomes and proceeded to work with the tooth in question. He clearly tried to do it as painfree as possible and checked in on me frequently during any of the procedures. As a result of his concern about the tooth's stability, we planned follow-up visits and monitored the tooth. Dr. Adamo responded immediately if I had any concerns, pain, etc.. As a result of all of this, he did save my tooth through his care and great skill. I would definitely refer him to other people and I truly consider him a true Artiste at what he does. Also, his office staff were friendly, caring and professional. I had no insurance, but the cost was less that $1,900 for a great deal of work and could be paid off in installments. A special note: Dr. Adamo is also a sparkling conversationalist and can really make one feel at ease in his environment.

I had an intermittent toothache of undetermined cause for months, now with increasing sensitivity until finally swelling broke out in my left jaw.
I called Dr. Adamo on the recommendation of several dentists I trust. He saw me the next day.
From the first, he was very sensitive to my high anxiety level. He explained what he was doing,as needed (or not, as I sometimes requested), and in a relaxed way performed my first root canal. I was given a prescription for antibiotics to take in 2 or 3 days, as needed. As it turned out I didn't need anything, as the dental pain was gone for good.
In sum, Dr. Adamo's is superbly informed, sensitive to patient needs, and technically flawless. I don't know if it's quite accurate to say I 'enjoyed' going for root canal, but it came as close to it as I could have described. I am a physician myself, and I believe he is a superb endodontist,

No one wants a root canal, but if you have to have one, Dr Adamo is the way to go. I've had about 10 of these procedures done over the years, by various dentists (yeah, I've got really bad teeth), and the two Dr Adamo did were by far the best I've ever had done. It really did not hurt. Even the pain killer shots were done so carefully I barely felt them. Despite having 2 very difficult teeth done, I had no pain or swelling afterward. During both procedures Dr Adamo was fully concentrated on the detail of this work, and he was clearly aware of any complications that could arise. He took the time to explain to me what he was doing, and why he was making certain choices. Unlike some quick and slick practitioners, I could see he was going to take however much time it required to get it right. Dr. Adamo teaches endodontics, and other dentists send their difficult cases to him. He's also a really nice person. If you want yours done right, he's the man to see. You'll be happy you did

I had a very difficult root canal done and I was petrified out of my mind. Dr. Adamo made me feel extremely comfortable and did not do any work on me until he knew that I was indeed extremely comfortable with what he was doing. I barely felt the needle that he gave me prior to my procedures and he was just wonderful. His staff is excellent and very welcoming as well. I would 200% recommend Dr. Adamo for any of your Endodonic needs. He is extremely experience and I didn't have an ounce of pain or swelling afterward. It was as if I didn't even have anything done. Just amazing. He is extremely pleasant and personable and makes you feel as if he knew you your entire life. Love him!

During a cavity removal my dentist discovered that I needed root canal. The tooth was right before the wisdom tooth, upper jaw, left side. An awkward, difficult place to work. My dentist referred me to Dr Adamo. I found that he and his staff are warm, friendly and very professional. Regarding pain, I felt just about nothing. Dr Adamo is a great combination of a friendly, kind, calm, funny and at the same time extremely skilled with decades of experience. The words, "root canal" used to frighten me but, not anymore. If I ever have another root canal (or any other Endodontist) procedure I would immediately call Dr. Adamo. I referred him to a co-worker the very next day! Very impressive. Here I am the day after the root canal and I am not even on any pain killers. I highly recommend Dr Adamo.

I initially came to Dr. Adamo [HLA] for an endodontic exam after receiving a very cursory exam from another endodontist. HLA was so thorough and professional that, when I broke two teeth in 10/09 that had been weakened in a June 2007 accident, I didn't walk, I ran to HLA. His examination and treatment recommendation was spot on. The crown lengthening planned by my dentist was not feasible due to the break locations and root damage, and HLA diagnosed that immediately. His root canal work is superb (I required three), and he takes great pains to ensure patient comfort. I would recommend Dr. Adamo without hesitation to anyone. His wealth of experience and attention to detail make him, in my opinion, a keeper. Additionally, he truly cares about his patients. I would not go to another endodontist. Need I say more?

I've been a patient of Dr. Adamo for more than 10 years. I was born in an Eastern European country, where dental care still needs significant improvement. He has performed numerous procedures to save my teeth that needed retreatment, and also saved many that were difficult to treat, every time with the greatest of care using state-of-art procedures.
Dr. Adamo is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. I highly recommend him, and I couldn't ask for a more brilliant, confident, and professional doctor.

I broke my front tooth because of bad procedures on an old root canal. I was sent to Dr. Adamo with a very slight chance to have my tooth saved. I was already thinking of an implant. What a surprise the outcome !! Dr. Adamo , great skills, knowledge and dedication, were key to a very sucessful treatment.
