Saw for root canal. Tooth had no disease but needed to be prepared for crown when onlay came out after many years. When I had strange pain following first day's drilling, he asserted I had disease in neighbor tooth and needed second root canal. Proved totally untrue and he showed rash, poor judgment.

Dr. Kamen is fantastic: He is smart, caring, and he uses computer-assisted x-ray equipment (modern). I had pain after a procedure and I called the office on a Sunday and the call was forwarded to his office assistant who contacted him and called me right back. I've been to him three times for endodontic procedures over a number of years and would *highly* recommend him to anyone needing this type of specialist. (the star categories are really stupid - I just gave him as many as possible, though I can't say he's cheap)

Treated my root canal when others failed. He was very patient and gentle and really listened to my concerns. His staff was very accommodating. He is a superstar

Dr. Kamen is an excellent endodontist with a friendly and calming chairside manner. He explained the procedure clearly, answered all questions, and performed the procedure quickly and painlessly. The results were excellent. I recommend him highly and would definitely go back to him should I need more work done in the future.

I had to have an emergency root canal a few weeks ago and Dr. Kamen fit me into his busy schedule, talked me through the procedure and in no time I was pain-free. It was amazing and I would go back to him for any other procedure...although I hope I never have to have another root canal!

Arrogant attitude, argued with staff while working on me, rough during procedure, and I suffered severe permanent nerve damage from a simple novacaine injection and was dishonest on medical records in order to cover his tracks. Would NEVER recommend this person to anyone.

I went there for a root canal. He did a superb job, as I did not feel anything (I actually fell asleep while he was working on that), and the operation was completely succesful, with no side-effects or need for extra painkillers and so on. Unfortunately, the $1600 was a rather steep price, and my insurance covered only $350.

I had a great experience with my first root canal at Dr. Kamen's office. He was painless, professional, and thoughtful all the way through.
