Dr. Toro: Fit me in for a root canal in an extremely crowded schedule when I explained my problem. She performed the surgery late afternoon and the early evening and my teeth seem like knew. An added comment, she noted the preliminary work that my general dentist had completed, and complimented him. A nice touch that he appreciated as well. Allan W

I came to Dr.Dukoff as an emerg. She did a molar root canal on tooth #18. My general Dentist called her office and they fit me in right away. She was very good and explained everything to me and now I'm pain free..

I went to Dr. Toro (Dukoff) as I was referred from my general dentist. I had a lot of pain in my tooth and needed a root canal. I was extremely nervous since it was my first root canal but after meeting her, I was immediately at ease. She is very professional and explained the procedure to me in a way that was very comforting. It turns out that it was no big deal since I experienced no pain from the procedure.

Exellent profesional! I wish she would have been a general dentist. She has a high work ethic! Doesn't talk much, and no non-sense! Respected by patiens and her piers. Higly recomended. She is fearless about more dificult treatments. If you need a root canal, this is the ony name you need to remember.

Dr. Toro makes having a root canal a downright pleasurable experience. Yes, I know that sounds impossible, and I swear I'm not a masochist. My first root canal experience, with an endodontist who was in my regular dentist's practice, was horrific (he told me there wouldn't be any pain as the local anesthetic was now fully effective, right before jamming one of those nasty tools right up a TOTALLY unanesthetized root canal, really hard). When I screamed in pain and protest, he acted like it was all my fault, saying that "well when it's all infected like this, sometimes the anesthetic can't get through" (so why did he assure me it wouldn't hurt, and why didn't he start by probing gently instead of viciously?). An oral surgeon later found that this root canal job was incomplete. When my dentist told me I needed another root canal, I told him he would have to refer me to someone other than his sadistic co-worker. He sent me to Dr. Toro, and I had a completely pain-free root canal. A couple of years later I needed another one, and had a repeat of the pain-free experience with Dr. Toro, so I know it was no fluke. She asked me about every 20 seconds if there was any pain, but there never was, during or after the procedures.
