Gorman claimed my root canal was unsuccessful and told me to come back in two weeks for an apicoectomy. When I returned and was ready to be worked on he admitted he was just being "proactive." (I had ZERO pain after the root canal) So I'll never even know if I *really* needed the second procedure. He didn't charge me for the second procedure, but he over charged me for the first. Beware since they make you pay the "estimated" cost before you leave, your insurance will adjust it and they'll end up needing to refund you. BUT, they won't refund you on their own. Months later it dawned on me while looking through insurance claims that I paid 3x's the cost of the procedure. I called and they're issuing me a refund but I have a feeling they would have ripped me off had I never noticed. Also, Mark Gorman isn't very professional. He snapped at the nurse periodically during my 2 hour apicoectomy and it was incredibly uncomfortable. His stitch job was incredibly painful as well because he struggled and I had to go back to my general dentist to figure out why. General dentist gave me pain killers and antibiotics. Worst experience ever. I'd rather get the tooth pulled than go back to him ever again. I still don't know if I'll lose my tooth.

Excellent treatment in every way. Almost entirely covered by my dental insurance. Outstanding communication and professionalism. Nitrous oxide was available at an extra cost, but I didn't need it at all. Novocaine injections were flawless and pain-free. I just put in my earbuds and relaxed through the entire procedure. I've had other root canals done, but no one compares to Dr. Mark Gorman. Truly exceptional!

Repaired dental mistakes from other painfully bad dentists, put me totally at ease,painless, confident,repaired denture x2 til they were able to rebuild one for me after I recovered from 2 major surgeries. The office staff are the best in the northeast ohio area!!! Dr Gorman is the best dentist I have ever experienced!!! i trust them completely and recommend them 200%

I had to have Dr. Gorman redo a root canal that was done a few years earlier by another dentist. It was an unusual tooth and when I told the other dentist that it still bothered me, he told me that "it was not possible." Dr. Gorman explained to me that I had an unusual structure to the roots of this particular tooth(several canals running in different directions) that needed to be cleaned out that the other dentist might not realized had been there. I was scared because the other root canal was very painful. Dr. Gorman and his staff were patient with me and even though I had the option of Nitrous Oxide, I made it through the procedure without it. When I had a problem later with pain and swelling, my call was returned promptly by the doctor on call. I was treated with appropriate pain medication and follow up. They were kind enough to let me pay for what my insurance does not cover in two payments. I can say that I am happy with the way I have been treated, but I would have preferred being able to spread the remainder of my balance out. I had to go to the other dentist with due to the fact that I didn't have enough money to pay up front for the 1st root canal. I am spending more on this one and I have insurance.
