While I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Wayne and most of his staff, there was an issue that I present for your consideration. About two years ago in Dec., I went in for a routine cleaning and exam. The Dr. and staff know of my prior medical issues. The usual dental hygienist was gone for Christmas and another of Dr. Wayne's staff performed the cleaning without giving me an oral rinse first to kill bacteria, etc. She cleaned very deep and two weeks later I had developed an infection in one of my lower right molars that was so bad they sent me out for a root canal immediately that day. This is a life threatening issue for me as Sepsis is a killer for people with weakened immune systems. The Dr. that they referred me to did an excellent job. However, now I have a dead tooth in my mouth and it continues to be an issue. I don't think the two are as coincidental as much as everyone would like me to think and I'm sure would like to gloss this over. Now, I'm having issues getting an appt. because I cancelled on my original cleaning appt. due to illness for 5 days. I'm totally disabled, have Lance-Adams Syndrome with Anoxic Encephalapathy along with other medical issues and take 13 medications for them. I have very specific time slots of availability because of this. I'm not able to get out in high heat nor am I able to drive before 9 am due to the effects of the medications I take. It shouldn't take a month to schedule an appt. for a cleaning and check up. It appears that I'm being punished for cancelling an appt. due to illness.

About Hygienist: The regular hygienist is great. She is gentle, thorough, and professional.
