Painless novocaine shot, yes...hard to imagne but he does it somehow by wiggling the cheek and distracting the nerves.

Mark is a great dentist. He's very friendly makes you feel comfortable. I feel like he's not trying to talk me into expensive procedures that I don't need, like some dentits in the past have done to me.

Mark is a fully trust worthy and thoughtful dentist that I have been going to for 25 years. He is communicative, and painless. Excellent person to trust with your teeth. Front desk personnel can be unfriendly from time to time.

The location is nice, but the office itself seems kind of old. Quite frankly I think that a dental office in the Back Bay should really have top notch equipment, which this did not seem to. My main complaint however is the price and the frequency of going. I have never heard of going to the dentist every three months. They claimed they only do that for first time clients for the first couple of visits, but I have now been going to them for a year and a half every 3 months. I will admit that they were pretty good when it came to cleaning my teeth and getting to the bottom of whatever problems I may have had that previous dentists did not catch, but the every 3 months thing really turned me off (and they weren't really nice about giving me some buffer room on that either).
