I have been a patient at Dr. Sasson's office for a long time. His staff is really friendly, professional and caring. I really love the hygienist. Dr. Sasson did my veneers 5 years ago and people still compliment me on my smile. It was expensive but worth it.

The hygienist is the best I've ever been to, very gentle and patient. Costs were explained to me before treatment was done. My insurance was researched and the co-pays were exactly as they said they would be. Overall, a great experience.

I went to Dr. Sasson's office to clean my teeth a number of times. He is very nice and thorough, went through my overall dental history and took x-rays. Good experience overall.

Rusty equipment (lamps, chair etc), assistant could not speak English and fell asleep on her chair several times during the procedure, while holding the vacuum in my mouth. I had had a diagnostic visit with another dentist before going to Sasson and I only needed a surface filling. I went to Sasson for the laser, and he insisted I get a crown and destroyed my tooth. I went elsewhere after the first visit. He's out for money and his laser machine works only for very minor stuff. Not a real professional. Several dentists advised me never to return there. His staff is unprofessional and untrained.

I am very afraid of the dental work. I work myself up to a nervous reck. But many many years I had an absess in my tooth and someone recommended Dr. Sasson to me so I went. He did everything in his power to make me feel comfortable. He talks me through every procedure and his staff provides the best customer service you could ask for. I would not change dentist for anything. I recommend him highly!

He seems to have very good knowledge. When he recomended me for fillings, I have asked few questions and said I am not willing to do them and he did not push after that.

When I visited Dr. Sasson, he portrayed himself as having done "hundreds" of veneer procedures, but I now suspect that he had in fact done very few (his assistants even led on to this). Even more importantly, he persuaded me to have two more teeth done that, in retrospect, were perfectly fine. Additionally, he did work to my gums that I did not give him permission to do (he carved back my gums to make them "look more appealing", but never metioned this beforehand). When I told him I was not happy with the results of the veneers (which looked like giant "chicklets"), he brought me back in a couple more times to "rework things"(which meant carving back my enamel a second time on all teeth... a VERY painful process... and trying on veneers that he CLAIMED were re-casted). After little imprrovement, he told me (in a nice way) that he didn't want to try to improve them anymore, and that I should go see another dentist. Thus, I was left with 6 shaved teeth and no dentist!!! Luckily I found a DMD that did a very good job (and who cited Sasson's work as basically irresponsible, in both applied skill and patient care). I would not recommend Dr. Sasson to ANYONE...while he seems nice, he is just not fit for such a permanent procedure

Based upon my own personal experience with Dr. Sasson, I believe that he is perhaps more of a business man than a dentist... and that he is trying to grow his practice in cosmetic procedures and has geared his marketing for the same. When considering treatments for me, he recommended a very aggressive veneer procedure (that I later found out wasn't warranted as we could have taken alternative and less intrusive measures), and I was truly disappointed with the result. I think he did this for the higher charges, and I truly suspect that he misrepresented his experience in this area (he said he had done "hundreds" of veneer procedures, but could only show pictures of two he did). I would be very wary of having major work done by Dr. Sasson, as I believe that he fails to take into account the full picture of a client's needs, and the quality of his work may suffer as a result. However, he does have a good bedside manner and v. nice facilities, so he might be an acceptable choice for cleanings and general care.
