Ive been goin to Dr. Stock for about 8 years now and while I always thought something was a bit off with my dental visits, I didnt quite realize how off they were until speaking out loud about my experiences to friends and later two other dentists and thus realizing Ive been ripped off and caused unnecessary pain and frustration. I figured that I trusted my dentist and if she felt a procedure was necessary, who was I to question it. Throughout the 8 years, I have been put through a number of unnecessary dental procedures and pain. One thing after another, whether it be replacing all of my old metal cavities to white ones (totally unnecessary), to medicated fillings for every cavity only to go back in 3 months for the real filling to Dr. Stock "messing up" on two seperate procedures, requiring unnecessary pain and for me to schedule yet another appt for her to take another crack at fixing the problem. Shes always rushing and makes me nervous or at other times, Ive been left to sit in a chair for over 45 mins just waiting for her to come back after the novicaine. Theyve also messed up my billing. I feel like she is simply out to get your money and the insurance companies money and has no respect that your teeth are precious.
About Hygienist: The hygenists are way too thorough poking and scraping in every single nook and cranny even when wincin in clear pain.

I am very pleased with the care I've received from Dr Stock and her staff since I signed up with the practice. I had neglected my teeth for a while and had a lot of tartar. Thanks to Dr Stock, it was cleared up fairly quickly and with little pain. I also had an Invisalign consult with her and she gave her honest opinion that fixed braces (to be done by an orthodontist) were probably the best option for me. In other words, she has my best interests at heart. The front desk people are friendly and very professional. Dr Stock herself is pretty nice and takes time to really listen to me. My only quibble is with the cost. Thankfully, most of my cleaning is covered by my dental insurance but I once had a non-routine cleaning that I paid out of pocket and it was moderately expensive. Overall, I would recommend Dr Stock and her practice.
About Hygienist: The hygienist I see, Kristen,is genuinely sweet and efficient. She and Dr Stock worked together to clear up years of tartar build up. The cleaning procedure (took multiple visits) was relatively pain-free which was no minor feat considering how much I had. She's very thorough with my routine cleaning too.

Overall a good dental practice (prompt, thorough, clean, high-tech), but they are constantly pushing products/procedures of questionable necessity (e.g. invisalign). I think I was asked about trying invisilign every single visit over 5 years, despite my reasonably straight teeth (after 3 years of braces as a kid) and repeated refusals. While they aren't necessarily forceful about these products/procedures, their apparent eagerness to convince patients (my wife had similar experiences there) makes me question their motivation. Are they really working in the best interest of their patients, or treating them like customers and trying to sell what they can?

Dr. Stock is an amazing dentist. Her facilities/sterilization are outstanding. Looking for a great dentist, in a new facility. Than you will have a positive experience at this office.
