Dr. Jew has treated me and a family member with excellent results. He makes a point to discuss everything that can go wrong before treatment which creates some anxiety, but the end result has been successful. He is well recommended with many years in practice.

I was a his patient just recently for a root canal and during the last quarter of the operation ... I fell a sleep. I never thought that I could sleep in the dentist's chair without any injection or medication. Well, it happend. I'm so amazed. My husband was so worried that I might faint from the fear and pain (it happend to me 3 times in the past). He took a day off and escorted me to the dentist ... well maybe he thought I might skip the appointment. What made me sleep? First of all, it was one and half hours of a painless operation. Second, Dr. Jew was a veteran surgeon. Third, I felt both, Dr. and his assistant were very nice and they created a relaxed mood. Both of them have warm personalities. The assistant gave me a nice reassuaring smile just before the operation and I liked that. Afrer the root canal operation was done, Dr. Jew did a great job on the filling. The filling I had done before was not a good one and It was so unconfortable that I had all kind of troubles. Also, I like to mention that there was no pain after the operation. 4 hours later I was eating without any pain and two days later, I was using that teeth to eat as nothing ever happend before. Highly Recommended.

I had a root canal with Dr. Jew. I was reffered there by my dentist, and had no prior experience with Dr. Jew. The office was horrible, the walls are all dirty and look like they haven't been treated for years. I have some anxiety when dealing with dental work, and ask for gas to ease my discomfort. Dr. Jew didn't want to give me gas, and so much as told me it doesn't work. Then when I wouldn't open my mouth, he relented. He didn't want to wait for the gas to kick in before starting, and really didn't do a good job of handeling a higher anxiety patient. The work was fine, and I've not had any problems with the tooth.
