I have been with Dr. Kolberg long before she moved to her new office. She has done several crowns and a bridge for me, and 3 or more fillings over the years. She has referred me to excellent specialists for endodontal work, when needed. She has always taken a conservative approach to my care, which is what I like and indicated I preferred. I've never had a problem with her work and she has always given me adequate time. I think her dental hygienists are excellent too, and never have any problems after a cleaning.

About Front Desk: Friendly and efficient. I never have any problems with my billings or appointments.

Dr Kohlberg insisted on a few fillings. The fillings felt strange (sharp edges and I specifically told her NOT to take out fillings and replace them with the white plastic if it wasn't necessary... she admitted her pet peeve is metal fillings and wisdom teeth- both things I have). Turns out, she took out perfectly fine metal fillings, charged me for the new ones I didn't want, and mysterious drill holes have appeared on one of my wisdom teeth. I have x-rays prior to her "work" in my mouth that shows these holes weren't there until after, and my new dentist confirmed that there is no way these holes happened naturally and he has no explanation how I could have done these myself (no rot and decay, just perfect tool sized holes). He is also replacing the filling she did on my other widsom tooth since it's already loose (less than 6 months old). You be the judge, but I'm not messing around with my teeth! They're the only ones I have...

About Front Desk: When I asked about my additional bills coming from my insurance company, the desk staff was fairly snippy and said that's routine. It turns out that Dr. Kohlberg had listed me as a periodontal patient (which I shouldn't be! I'm under 30 and healthy gums!), changing my coverage to be more costly and more out of my pocket. She did this so she could perform an unnecessary "deep cleaning" which she told me was optional but recommended (according to my new dentist a complete money-maker scam). How else can she afford such a beautiful new office? Again, you decide!
