I took my son in for his regular check up and cleaning. they asked if I wanted fluoride treatment done. I said only if it is covered by insurance. The nurse went away to check came back and said yes it is covered. Then I get a bill for $30 for the fluoride treatment. I disputed it as I said no unless it was covered by insurance there nurse checked and said it was covered it was there mistake they should pay the $30 but they will not. So make sure what ever they do it is covered by your insurance because your bill could be a lot worse than $30.

MONTICCIOLO FAMILY AND SEDATION DENTISTRY, P.A. is a business with several offices. So, you have itinerant professionals going from office to office. It is your job to chase them for any procedure of significant duration or skill such as an implant, root canal or crown, from which I question the quality control. Also, if you are a new patient, you have no idea which doctor will work on you. You do not get that choice. With several offices, it is highly unlikely that it will be Vincent Monticciolo.

He came to see me and gave a very negative check up. He told me I had gingivitis, most of my teeth were loose and falling. He decided I needed a crown, because I went for a pain in a tooth. I agreed to have it done. They gave me an estimate and told me my insurance would cover 50% I paid right away the amount that I needed to pay. The doctor saw me in a hurry and gave me a quick check up because he was doing sedation. That is the only thing they care about in this office: put you to sleep to avoid the pain and the pain of how much you have pay. The crwon was put very quickly and they never told me the kind of crown they put in me until I was billed again.They only care about the money and not the patient. When I went to see the hygienist she told me I didn't have gingivitis and my tooth were great? who to believe. A whole bunch of money makers and liars.That is who they are.

About Hygienist: The hygienist is very nice and she did a great job. Once again his boss sucks.

This was a horrible experience for me. He said, I needed all of this work done. Root Canal, Bridge, wisdom teeth pulled....gum disease. The total would have been 5,800 dollars. He couldn't wait until I signed the contract and filled out a charge card/finance with like 24 percent interest. I decided to get a second opinion. I did not need the Bridge at all. I canceled that procedure and only got root canal and wisdom teeth pulled,. They didn't erase the 4.900 from the card for almost a year. I was paying the interest on 5.800 for almost a year. I called every week, went in the office....no one in the office helped me. No one called back and they all came up with excuses. They never gave me a final total of the work that I did get done. Money over client. I also wonder if I really needed root canal also since I was not having pain at all.

Amazing!! Prior to my sedation appt. I couldn't believe that I was going to have that much dental work done all in one sitting(multiple extractions, crowns, and fillings. I was nervous to say the least. But the staff was excellent and clamed my fears. Turns out..They were exactly right -very little swelling and NO pain!! The very first time I even called Dr. Monticciolo he and everyone made me feel like I wasn't this discusting person with horrable teeth, like I wasn't the only one. After the first visit I even started smiling thinking about having real teeth, nice teeth, teeth to be proud of. There was NO pain during the surgery(only a little sore after) and they were over so fast! Now I have the smile I always dreamed of...M.O.,San Antonio, FL

I had 5 extractions, 2 crowns, and deep cleaning. I felt NOTHING. The only thing I remember is everyone saying 'Good Morning' and then saying your done time to go home. Dr. Monticciolo and his team were great both front of house and back, everyone was great. But I have to tell the truth, SEDATION is what got me in that chair, not once but twice, and from now on...K.K.,Spring Hill, FL
