I would recommend Dr. Mix to anyone in the area who needs a caring, knowledgeable dentist. I have moved away and moved back and she is the only one I want to work on my teeth.

About Hygienist: Her Hygienists have been with Dr. Mix for years (she has a great retention rate with her staff) and they are always on top of the latest and greatest in dental care.

Dr Mix is not only a brilliant dentist (quote from endodontist: "Dr Mix makes miracles") but also so friendly & reassuring that I am no longer terrified to have my teeth attended to. Everyone in her office is equally efficient and accomodating.

Stay away from this dentist for reconstructive work. She did an awful, poor-fitting, off-color crown for me and cemented it in place before I even saw it. Then she had to cut it out and, in the process, broke another tooth! In the end, both crowns that she did had to be re-done elsewhere because of virtually no occlusion (good contact) -- huge ,costly waste of time. She also went very heavy on the novocaine -- I was numb from 1:00 until 7:30 p.m.
About Hygienist: The hygienist was actually quite good and pleasant but I would never go back to this practice.

My experience with Dr. Mix and her office staff has been great overall. They are conveniently located, have flexibility around my work schedule, and are genuinely personable and friendly during the procedures.
About Hygienist: They employ a variety of hygenists. The 2 or 3 that I have had are very thorough and gentle. It just depends on how much of a conversation you want to have with tools in your mouth.

Dr. Mix is extremely competent and employs first-rate hygienists. I appreciate her willingness to "wait-and-see" about things that might become a problem (but probably won't) instead of surging in to perform proceedures on the slightest excuse as some dentists will.

This doctor is a skilled professional, producing quality results.
Tends to be on an expensive side. WARNING: horrible receptionist on staff, they don't know how to work with insurance, frequent billing mistakes, bad attitude. Was the main reason had to leave this office.
