I have had fillings, cleanings, and crowns performed with Dr. Hackley and have had a consultation for veneers. I have thought of finding a different dentist, but the location is very convenient for my work. I often feel like the doctor rushes through my procedures. Most of my time is spent with the dental hygienists, and during checkups I will see the doctor for about 2-3 minutes for a quick look at my teeth. The office is now only open 4 days a week, with some days closing as early as 3pm, so scheduling is becoming more challenging. Also, I am getting insane bills from the dentist's office because of improper insurance billing on the office's part. Also, they are terrible about returning phone calls if you leave a message on the machine and wait times can be aggravating for scheduled appointments.
About Hygienist: The hygienists do a pretty good job at this office, but if you are looking for a gentle treatment, I doubt that you will be satisfied here. I often leave with bleeding gums (and I floss 3x per day with no bleeding) after my semi-annual cleaning. Also, I feel like the fluoride application could be tidier and a bit more attentive. Obviously, the broad, flat, front surfaces of my teeth are not the biggest concern for cavities, so it would make sense to try to get some fluoride on the side surfaces and in between the teeth. The hyguenisits are very friendly and are pretty good (i.e., 4 out of 5 visits) about giving you a goodie bag with tooth paste, a brush, and floss.

I had a debridement & 3 fillings done earlier in 2010. At 1st I thought I had a good experience, however, recently I moved & chose to find a dentist closer to home. My new dentist's office/staff puts Dr. Hackley's to shame. I recently had another debridement at this new office & got an electric toothbrush w/ a special rinse included in the price & still pd less at my new place than at Dr. Hackley's (for the debridement). Plus, the hygienist took more time to do the process & she measured the level of 'gunk' I had b/t my teeth & gums (from 1-6mm), explaining what each measurement meant for my oral health. NO ONE took the time to explain this to me during my 1st debridement -not the hygienist & not Dr H. I can do something to improve my oral health because now I actually know how serious gum health is. And I have the tools to take better care of my teeth at home thx to my new dentist -not sure why Dr. H doesn't offer this level of service (electric brush, special rinse, etc). Dr. H does have pretty flexible office hours and her staff is friendly, but I would only go back if I lacked the flexibility to go to my new dentist & I could spare with some cash to cover her higher fees -I have no insurance & the 10% disc doesn't cut it.

Very pleasant and caring doctor and staff. It was definitely my best dental experience ever. I received very good treatment and advice.

I have taken my 2 oldest children to this offcie and was very impressed at how friendly the staff is, along with how comfortable they make my children. I just went for my own check up and I could not have been more comfortable. I highly recommend this dentist for those who wish to have any work done in a professional, friendly environment. Dr. Hackley's staff is quite impressive, as is the offcie itself. Doctor Hackley is truly a dentist who is ahead of her profession.

I was very disappointed in the services I received from Dr. Hackley. She provided 3 procedures and only 1 was done satisfactory. She never apologized for her mistakes or of her staffs.'
She acted very arrogant about her crown work in comparison to my other existing crown. Meanwhile I experienced discomfort because she and her staff never properly cemented the crown. She botched a simple replacement of a filling for a front tooth. In her effort to correct her mistake she reshaped my tooth, then to correct that she filed my tooth and created a noticeable space and difference from the matching tooth. Again, she never apologized or admitted her mistake, nor offered a remedy to fix it. As a result I became very self consciences about my smile.
Her office decoration includes the quote - A smile is the same in any language. Not if she ruins your smile with her bad dental work.
I would never, never, never recommend her!!!

This was a GREAT dental experience. The staff makes me feel like family. My teeth had horrible veeners on them since I was 8. Dr. Hackely replaced them and they make me look like a super star. I feel very comfortable going to her office, and would recommend her to all of my friends. Infact, I did!!

I have never been to a medical office with such helpful and pleasant staff. Her hygienist did the best cleaning I have had. They're costs are reasonable or in line with the market.

The Doctor was great - but her technician was sloppy. Left too much cement on a temporary crown, and I was in pain for five days, and I had to go back.

The facilities are pleasant, but the treatment was a bit rough. The doctor seemed less than attentive, and the hygenist seemed more in chage of my actual treatment. Like many dentists, I was casually being charged thousands of dollars with minimal explanation of the treatments and then it was my decision whether to continue or not.
