I would not recommend this dentist. After being a patient of his for 4 years, I was informed by Salhaney that I should look for another dentist. Evidently this was because 3 years ago he recommended I have a $1000 gum treatment. I personally had no recollection of him ever making this suggestion and I never had any complaints or issues with my gums. However, he told me that I was failing to comply with procedures. I was literally in awe that this was happening. He also mentioned that I am young (35) and that in 5 years who knows where his business will be as he plans on retirement......sure. This the first time I've experienced anything like this. Now as far as procedures go, I'd say it's on par with any other dentist. They did a fair job numbing things up, but it's going to hurt like crazy once the shots wear off. Take your chances if you want, but if you are from the area I'd go check out some different places. The rest of my family has had great success with Norman Family Dentistry in Ada. So I think that's where I'll be heading off to.

I needed a plan to fix many teeth and they were able to do this over a 5 year span and it worked out perfectly

Didn't look at the best interest of the patient but more concerned on keeping me as a steady income for his practice. My teeth needed special treatment and was never recommended on seeing a periodentist for cleanings or oral surgeon for serious work. Stayed for a couple years of painful cleanings (trusting this was my only option). Told insurance would cover bill but it wasn't. Once trust is gone, there's no going back.
About Hygienist: Took awhile for notes to be taken on painful sites in mouth. You are not a person but income that they desperately want referrals on.
