Dr. Mel is a wonderful dentist. She is kind and nurturing. Dr. Oliver has an exceptional staff of dentists. However, there are other areas within his practice that need further examination. I am sure he is not aware of the lack of empathy his front end staff shares for his clients.
About Front Desk: The front end staff is horrible. They are rude and unprofessional. Policies and procedures are not in writing, or not given to clients. This may be due to the fact that a large percentage of the clients receive Mediciad, and they feel they do not have to share agency policies. Front end staff operate under the assumption that a majority of Medicaid parents are not worthy of respect. This is unfortunate due to the fact that a large percentage of clients that come to this office receive assistance from the federal government.
