Dr Karim is awesome. I had heard so many stories about root canal about how long it takes and all. And about the pain you might feel after the procedure. I only had to take one doze of pain killer after the procedure (it was given by them only)...after that I did buy pain killers but didn't have to take. A big Thank You to Dr Karim and his awesome staff.

I had pain on one of my tooth and Dr Karim and his were very professional and very helpful. I came back a week later, instead of charging me he suggested better way of dealing with my treatment to avoid more cost. After my treatment, he called me at home to check and see how I was doing. I will recommend him to anyone I know.

Having a root canal was not something I planned. But Dr. Alibhai made the procedure pretty much pain free and made sure that you never felt any pain. Highly recommend him

I have just had the worst medical experience of my life. In this day and age, does anyone do root canals with virtually no anesthetic or anxienty-relieving technique? Never having had one before, I had a root canal performed by Dr. Alibhai. It seemed strange to not be offered headphones, gas, anything else, but trusted that the ordeal was over - despite expressing concern about a nerve-type "zinging" as he finished. A year later, the tooth went from sensitive to throbbing, He reluctantly agreed to look again tho' insisted the pain was coming from a different tooth. He wrenched the crown off without anesthesia - odor & taste of infection filled the room - he mumbled something - gave a single shot of novacaine then went to attend other patients for 10-15 mins. I've never been particularly fearful in dental or medical situations before (including 2 hip replacements), but now experienced skyrocketing anxiety. Upon his return, I requested gas or "anything" else but was dismissed. I couldn't leave the office or I would have. Proceeded to drill, etc. gave a 2nd shot only after I levitated off the chair at one point and was shaking & weepy. Due to interruption to attend other patients, the whole process took nearly 31/2 hrs.

My root canal got infected after a procedure performed by this doctor. As a consequence I lost my tooth. He wouldn't admit its responsibility for the failed procedure, subsequent calls to the customer service were ignored. Overall, I had a very bad experience with this doctor.

My sincere compliments to Dr. Alibhai and the staff of Advanced Endodontics for the exceptional quality of treatment I received on my most recent visit. I have always had anxiety of receiving dental treatment, but needless to say, both of my experiences here have been pleasant. The friendly receptionist was very professional and the clinic environment is very inviting and serene. Dr. Alibhai is experienced and I felt relaxed in his comfortable and caring presence. He performed my root canals gently and I did not feel any pain or discomfort both during the procedure and after the anesthetic wore off. Dr. Alibhai also took the time to call me the following day to ensure that I had not experienced any discomfort overnight. This endodontist is certainly one of the top in the area and it is a shame that his practice does not extend to include general dentistry as well. Kudos to a job well done.

Worst experience at a dentist ever, and I've had hundreds of dental experiences, between myself and my family. Made me wait all day for a root canal that only takes a couple of hours. Hygienist was mean about the x-rays. Dr. Alibhai didn't even use topical pain killer before the shots, which is insane. The root canal failed. I didn't realize a root canal could fail...in the past it's been a treatment of last resort. They do zero patient followup and didn't even return my phone calls promptly. I waited a long time for a free followup visit. They booked me with his partner, who treated me so badly that you would think I was joking, plus offered zero solutions. Then the office manager said, $145. When I protested, she became abusive. So I paid and took it up with Dr. Alibhai. Dr. Alibhai also became abusive, calling me a liar. This is my first experience with a dentist who lacks a moral compass, and surrounds himself with others who also lack moral compasses.

Thank goodness I went to see Dr. Alibhai. It was hours before I was scheduled to have a molar extraction after the diagnosis of a very unskilled, unprofessional endodontist in Factoria sent me to have my tooth extracted. Dr.Dean Barnett could not proceed with a re-do on an old root canal after drilling my 12 month old crown until it broke off.He was supposed to just drill a hole in it and then do a root canal but he said the crown had a crack and that he could not follow through with the root canal and sent me immediately to have my tooth extracted at an oral sugeon in Issaquah.Thank fully I had eaten earlier and was told I would have to come back the following morning for the surgery. Ultimately I would have required an implant. My husband urged me to see Dr.Alibhai for a second opinion. When he saw the xray taken by Dr.Burnett he could not see the reason for a root canal in the first place, especially as the tooth was not causing any discomfort .I cancelled the extraction, had the root canal successfully treated and am now proceeding with a new crown from Dr. Alaam Samsovar who recommended Dr. Alibhai to my husband. I am so grateful to have had Dr. Alibhai save my tooth and not have to have an extraction. He is brilliant.
