In this one day Dr. Brown was amazing. It's a Saturday 11/12/11, this past Tuesday I went and saw another dentist that prepared my absessed tooth for a root canal. He prescribed me an antibiotic and some pain medicine, 10 of the lowest dose of pain meds you can get. Last night my tooth began hurting so bad I was in tears. So this morning I called the emergency line and the dentist I had seen in Cherryville (Cloninger) told me there was nothing he could do about it, he couldn't give me anymore pain medicine or anything. But I could call his uncle in Lincolnton (Dr. Robert Cloninger) and he'd be in his office at 3. I called and when I told him I had to be at work at 3 he said, "well I'm f-cking sleeping, it's your tooth hurting, not mine so I don't know what you want me to do about it." I said, I don't want you or your nephew doing anything to it. Well I called Dr. Brown's emergency number and he was so kind to me and understanding. He called me in a new antibiotic (a stronger one) and some pain meds until I can get in to see him. He said, "That just makes my skin crawl to hear that man say that to you." Dr. Brown is my new dentist and will be my dentist from here on out. I'd recommend him to anyone. Very compassionate.
