Brought my 17 yr old daughter and 15 yr old son to see Dr. block recently. She bragged about how she spends so much extra time with her patients and she had state of the art equipment. She accused my daughter of having bulemia and that she had the teeth of a forty yr old. Said my daughter had one cavity and my son had none.
The bulemia claim was due to my daughter having some enamel wear on some of her upper front teeth.
We took HER X-rays to TWO other locals dentists who both agreed that the bulemia charge was crazy and the tooth wear was from an overbite. To top it off, both of the dentists found my daughter had 11 cavities and my son had 4. This was terrible enough, but imagine if we had missed them!
One of the worst things was that she made the bulemia charge and the 40 year old comment right in front of my daughter, when she was sitting in the chair. If you've ever had a teenage daughter, you know how worried they are about their appearance.
This is the worst dentist I had ever run into!!! I'm also filing a complaint with the state dental board.
