I went to Dr Leon on a recommendation from a coworker shortly after I moved to St Louis in 2002. Dr Leon had been my coworker's family dentist for around 20 years, and she recommended him highly. His office was easy to get to. His staff was very friendly and professional. His facility is spotless and very modern. I was reassured by his manner, and, while going to the dentist is never pleasant, Dr Leon made my visits as nice as possible. The only downside is that he's no longer covered by my insurance. I would recommend Dr Leon to anyone looking for a dentist in the area, especially if he accepts your dental plan.

I know this doctor: 4 years

I've been going to Dr. Leon since I was a kid (he hates it when I remind him of that). I've been to several other dentists and have not liked their work as much as Dr. Leon's. Staff is friendly and loyal - many have worked there for years. He continues to innovate and renovate his practice which makes the addtional cost worth it. Billing contines to be a pain point here. My husband has caught mistakes and their staff corrects them. Seems like he's always switching to a new billing system.

I used to go to Dr. Leon. I was given an exam and he looked for cavities with the Ultrasound machne. I was told that I had 6 cavities! Apparently this is very new in the dental industry and not accepted accross the board in the dental field as an accurate diagnosis of cavities. I found this out because I started going to a new dentist that did full mouth xrays. I only had 1 cavity! Thank goodness I didn' t take Dr. Leon's diagnosis seriously! He also persuaded my mother to have gum treatment performed that was very costly only to find out later that this also wasn't necessary! Stay Away!!
