I've been treating by Mike Abels for about 25 years. He's thorough in his exams and explains every step of all procedures. He is very much into preventative dentistry. The hard part, as is the case with many medical professionals, is making appointments. He books early, usually several months out. He does make time for emergencies within a few hours and follows up immediately on all issues.
I seldom have to spend much time in the waiting room, which is too bad because Dr. Abels keeps more new magazines than most medical offices. If you are a bicycle rider, Abels is a plus, because he can tell you a lot of his own routes around the city.
