I have had plenty of treatments by him due to my teeth. I take care of my teeth but I still need care often. I'm also a surgical tech and believe I can spot a good doctor. He is awesome at helping me keep a nice smile. I get compliments often on these teeth. And I tell them if they only knew the crowns I have (even my two front teeth) and fillings and all, they would not believe it. It is all Dr. M on why I have my smile! I am glad I have his help.

About Dr Marcello ... run for the hills!! He should be working in a vets office on farm animals, not human patients. I'm not over exaggerating. My wife, my daughter & myself all had horrible experiences directly with Dr Marcello over the course of 3 yrs. He prides himself in working extremely fast, seeing the most amount of patients as humanely possible, at the cost of quality patient care. He removes too much material from teeth unnecessarily & perform unnecessary procedures. He shouldn't be allowed to work on patients.

About Front Desk: Front desk staff was very polite & professional

About Hygienist: Minimal job performed. Always too busy to perform a thorough, proper cleaning. This office spends minimal time performing cleanings .... period.

Sorry to all who may have gone there more recently...but good news...2 offices are closed...God please help me to not continue writing all the misfortune I found at this place...may the "Dr." and some of the staff find some way to improve... The above is a very brief statement...I deleted most of what I typed before...trying to be nice...

About Front Desk: The professionalism at these offices were a reflection of the leader in some cases...in others, staff showed their own unique approach to helping and caring...good luck to them all...

My child is on Medicaid and while I do appreciate that Dr. Marcello accepts Medicaid so my child doesn't have to go to one of those free clinic type providers, I believe the dentists at Royal Crest go over board when it comes to root canals. Point in case, daughter's 12 year old molars caused some pain when coming in. Dr. Marcello said daughter needed root canal, so I asked to see the x-ray. Dr. Marcello behavior changed as if to say how dare you question me. The x-ray was brought up, he pointed to a shadowed area, then turned the monitor off quickly. I made the appointment to have the work done, but cancelled it a week before appointment. That was over 1.5 years ago and daughter has had no problem with the tooth and the subject of a root canal did not come up during her last cleaning. I'm going to guess and say that a root canal is probably one of the most expensive treatments that Medicaid pays for and the treatment is abused. I have a friend who is a maxillofacial surgeon. When I mentioned this to him he just smiled and stated that seems to be the case and it was not the first time he's heard it. Be sure to get a second opinion if in doubt.

About Hygienist: Excellent hygienists always makes my daughter feel comfortable and does a great job.

Dr. Marcello acted afraid of my special needs daughter. He was supposed to make an appointment for her in September or October, which was to me a broad range of time anyway. He has never called me back and now it's November. Now although he takes Medicaid patients, the Medicaid will not pay the $500.00 sedation. This dentist is very unprofessional and very unfriendly.
