Dr. Wood has put braces on my 2 older children's teeth and now on my special needs younger son. The first two kids braces experience was a success and I expect that this son's will be too.
The atmosphere is very pleasant with Christian music playing and Dr. Wood is very kind and gentle. He shows an interest in the kids and puts them at ease.
The tech, goes over the expectations with the child and gives written info so that everyone understands how to take care of the braces.
I can't recommend based on cost as insurance paid for the braces (so I'm not sure what the cost was) but Dr. Wood's staff helped us through each step of the way and told us what to expect as far as time-frame, insurance acceptance, etc.
The office is small and in an older building (still nice) but that's okay and I'm sure helps keep costs down.
I would recommend Dr. Wood and his staff for braces. Our experience has been good with each child, whether they never broke a bracket or had a hard time keeping their hardware intact. They seem to genuinely care about each child's experience (successful braces) and continue to give advice and guidance throughout the process.
The waiting time was never too long either.
