Almost all crown and bridgework done by Dr. Van Lanen failed within 1-3 years. Because the prepared teeth were cut to short accelerated decay set in leaving no options other than expensive dental implants. I've had crowns done by other dentists that are 35-40 years old and in excellent condition. Its depressing knowing that Van Lanen's prior work will cost me $25,000 to fix with the potential cost of $50,000. Meanwhile I'm loosing weight because I can't eat. I stand 100% behind my comments.

Dr. Van Lanen and the entire staff are very pleasant and they help you feel at ease. Dr. Van Lanen talks to you and not at you and explains fully and in laymans terms what you need done in order to help you make an intelligent decision. Furthermore, he takes the time to explain what he is doing at the time he is doing it leaving you with the feeling of being in control of the procedure being preformed on you. I highly recommend him.
