I had to have ALL the root canal work by Dr. L, redone because she left roots in place! The only way I found this out is when another dentist took Xrays which clearly showed the intact roots & recommended retreatment! I contacted Dr. L & she said "everyone has different opinions". I told her this wasn't an "opinion", it was "Xray proof." She threatened to sue me if I filed a Small Claims Court case. Then a friend encouraged me to file a complaint with the California Dental Association to protect the public from her malpractice.
After a year & findings in my favor by the CDA's endodontist peer review team, Dr. L still denies what is crystal clear on the Xrays and she's appealing their ruling! Her appeal only spreads the truth of her malpractice wider among her peers = not very smart.
I have other complaints, but the worst is needing to endure 2 root canals. I had horrible pain from her treatment during and after as well as & visible bruises on my jaw, that I could not coverup with makeup. (I've never had visible bruising on my face from any other root canal or extraction).

About Front Desk: When I asked in writing for a copy of my dental records multiple times (which by law they must give me) they kept sending me bogus stuff. I paid their copying fee and again they sent me a few pages of nothing. Later the California Dental Ass. got my entire chart and it was over 25 pages long! Nothing about this office is professional. With so many good dentists in SF, go elsewhere and save yourself pain, time and money.

I have had 3 surgeries and at least 12 root canals with Dr. Leung. She is an expert in her profession and is always looking for ways to improve her practice (i.e new tools, technology etc.). She is quick and efficient and charges a very reasonable rate for her services. Dr. Leung has such a wonderful way about her that you end up feeling like you had just spent an hour with a friend. Her staff is professional, friendly and discusses billing related matters openly with extreme knowledge. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Leung to anyone in need of Endodonist work.

Dr. Leung had done several root canals for me as well as for my family members for the past few years. She is professional, exceptionally skilled, and funny!! Unlike most doctors that I had been to, she truly cares about her patients. You can feel her sincerity and her warmth. Other friends that had seen her for root canals have similar experiences. Everytime the subject of root canals come in, it seems that everyone has been to see her for this procedure. I do believe that she must be the city's #1 endodontist as the go to specialist. I can't say enough about her, not only her skills but also as a person! I guarantee that you will be pleased with her.

The root canal procedure performed on me was a total failure. I have to go to another Endodontist to perform a second root canal to fix the problem. She was very unfriendly and caused me a lot of pain and anxiety over a year.

I was referred to Doctor Angela Leung by my regular dentist. The first thing that I found very convenient was the parking garage that had plenty of handicapped and regular parking available.
I was treated to a very relaxing atmosphere, a curious and knowable staff that explained the procedure and the cost. Being a cash patient, I was pleased that they were able to work with me and split my payment into two separate payments. I was quite surprised that my first visit only took about an hour and I felt vary little pain. My final visit went smoother than the first and I am extremely satisfied with the results.
I have had root canals done in the past, by other endodontists and can honestly say that my experience at Doctor Leungs was the best. I am pleased to say that she is now my endodontist of choice and I will highly recommend Doctor Leung to my family and friends.

Dr. Leung is a great doctor - thorough, knowledgable,a nd with a great chairside manner. Her staff is courteous and friendly. Everyone there seems sincerely concerned about patient comfort. Would reccomend to anyone.

Dr Leung did two root canals for me. I have a really small mouth and the root canals needed to be done on the back upper molars. She was not at all phased by it and whistled while she worked. Very calm and efficient. She got the jobs done and I didn't have any problems afterward.

She is nice. BUT, the office reeks of rude. I received the worst treatment from a medical office at Dr. Leungs. After a hefty bill for one tooth and a procedure that had to ultimately be completed by my dentist, she wouldnt return my calls after I asked to speak with her directly to clarify. Instead of a simple call (receptionist slammed the phone in midst of my conversation more than once), I get a letter that didnn't address any of my issues. If you want to avoid a headache, go elsewhere. Mr. Pritzer has it right, her work is fine, but after your procedure is over, do not expect her help.

Very relaxing and made me feel good when I was so scared. Made time for me to come immediately. Made me feel comfortable at all times.
