I went in for a semi annual checkup. They told me I had a cavity in one of my teeth. I let him fill it, three days of pain later they tell me my tooth is cracked. (they cracked it) I had no pain before. A week later a filling falls out on another tooth. I ask to I have to pay for these, answer "yes you do". (not me) I few weeks later cap falls off my sons tooth. The Bottom Line they do not stand behind what they do. We looked real hard at this situation because we have gone there for 7 years. We love the Hygienist except for one rude one (can't remember her name. Bottom line this is a business and Sheldon wants more money out of your pocket nothing is their fault.

About Hygienist: for the most part are all great

When I first started services, Dr. Sheldon & staff were very caring and friendly. The office seemed to change, however, when the two junior dentists left the practice. Website has not been updated in many years. The hours listed are inaccurate, the forms listed are no longer used, and the only staff listed is Dr. Sheldon. Open on Saturdays, but not during the summer months. Office uses state-of-the-art technology. Patients reminded of appointments by phone, e-mail AND text message, TV's in every treatment station, all digital x-rays. Uses a cavity detection tool called a Diagnodent, which detects change in a tooth's surface with a laser light. Felt as if Diagnodent was used as a money making opportunity. Had eight cavities filled in 2 years as a patient. Once a cavity was detected, had to wait AT LEAST two months to get another appointment. Only way to get in sooner is for a root canal or extraction, which costs more money. Had issues with filling done by one of the junior partners. Called several times asking for emergency appt due to pain. Office was always unwilling or unable to see me. The receptionist was rude; made no effort to ask me about pain or consult with dentist or assistant. No longer a patient here - poor service!!

I had a crown done after a root canel by a specialist. He did a good job but I felt like he has so many patients that I was just a quick stop in his endless sea of patients. I also didn't feel like he really listened to my concerns. He did give me a script for pain when I left--which was nice since he knew he had to hurt me : ) I do think he is a very good dentist, just maybe too busy for my liking.

It was fairly expensive for a simple cavity filling. The dentist was nice, and the facility was nice. It was going through renovations when I was there, but it will be nice. They have T.V's on the ceiling so that makes it nice.
