This guy is like a used car sales guy. First he does not give a feel that he is a doctor. This is the first negative comment I am posting but I had to do this due to the horrible experience not just for me but also for 3 of my friends. Patel has one solution to all problems..."Root Canal". He gave a bill of 9000$ for both my wife and myself. I immediately took that to a second doctor and fixed the entire issue for 75$. Just a filling. How can someone ask you to replace 4 tooth for nothing.
The worst part is he makes you agree to this after he numbs you and makes you agree to the treatment. His wife in front-office makes the final call and pushes you to sign for next appointment.
Another horrible suggestion was made when he proposed to replace my good tooth with a crown just because the next one was a crown and it would "look good: if both were crown. Man, this guy is ready for anything to earn money.
My suggestion is always go for a second opinion if you get a costly evaluation.
