I had a broken tooth with a cavity and he treated it within 2 hours after I called. He also explained my options clearly and worked with me on payment since I was waiting for Medicaid to be approved.

Sadly, I had a really bad experience which I am sharing on this site for the first time anywhere. I've always had good teeth and have always had 6-month check-ups and cleanings, not needing anything else since childhood (and back in the 70s and 80s we all had lots of cavities, didn't we?) So he told me I needed a cavity replaced and I believed him: it was a horrible experience with lots of pain throught the procedure... I cried thru the whole thing from first injection to paying the bill, and he denied he knew I had been in any distress. I recommend no one going to this facility ever.
About Hygienist: Pleasant for years; but did not call me back when I reported this negative experience to her.

Facility is very clean. I had a root canal done & was pain free through the expierence. Very gentle. Atmosphere was calming. Cost was affordable. I recommend this dentist.
About Hygienist: Very nice hygienist. Was very thorough & felt clean. I had a deep cleaning which was very invasive but she was gentle.

Kind, caring, knowledgeable, able to do root canals onsite. Very thorough and gentle. I highly recommend Dr. Tom and his staff!

Dr. T. Schipsema is extremely careful and considerate. My whole family had visited his office: my spouse, myself and our two small children. He was very considerate and explained everything carefully. He cleaned my teeth himself, which was by the way one ofthe best cleanings I ever received. He refilled a cavity that was preformed incorrectly by a previous dentist. He had made sure I did not feel any pain. He was thorough and precise with this procedure. I noticed that his office was outfitted with the most current dental equipment: digital xray, patient records all digital, etc. He was also very attentive to future scheduling of appointments as well as the paperwork for the insurance. The office environment is very pleasant with activities for the kids, fresh flowers on the front desk, little touches that makes me think Dr. T. Schripsema takes real care of his practice. I would have to say Dr. T. Schripsema is one of the best dentists I have ever had. I and my family would highly recommend him and his office.

Dr. Tom Schripsema and his staff are extremely kind and compassionate. The atmosphere is very calming with classical music playing. I really appreciate Dr. Tom's competency and also his sensitivity to the patients' concerns and fears. He is the first dentist that I really enjoy going to! The hygenist is also very good at cleaning teeth without picking, scraping, and splattering stuff everywhere! I highly recommend Dr. Tom!
