I recently moved to Amherst and was trying to find a new dentist and tried Dr. Faricellie because he took my dental insurance. He told me I needed a deep cleaning procedure done. He then told me I had two cavities. When I went in to have the cavities fixed I was told my copay would be $640 for the two cavities. I left unable to afford this copay and called my insurance company who said it should for no reason cost that and they advised me to see someone new. When I went to get a second opinion I was told I do not even have any cavities nor did I need this deep cleaning procedure he did. Overall I would say that he was scamming for more money and I would recommend others do not go to him and get unnecessary treatments.
About Front Desk: The secretary was very friendly and polite.
About Hygienist: My hygienist did nothing other then help the dcotor she did not perform the cleaning.
