I've been going to Dr. Peter Gross. I never seen a doctor like this in my life. He is very rude, doesn't have patience. He used to scold his assistances in front of everyone. He also never do procedures right way. Let me share my experiences, one day I went to scaling, he did two fillings, charged me 250$ for fillings and then I got severe pain after a week of treatment. I paid 75$ for emergency visit. He recommended me to a root canal specialist. If he is right doctor, he would have identified the issue on the spot. Hence I don't recommend this angry Gross to anyone.

About Front Desk: Too much waiting.

A stressful disappointment. Dr. Peter Gross is competent but his staff and front desk personnel are disorganized, inconsiderate and arrogant. Made appt.for 11:30 AM several weeks in advance; appt. was confirmed days before date and arrived early to Gross's dental office. I was made to wait 'til 2 PM--2.5 hrs. after the appted time. No explanation was offered for outrageous delay, but was asked to prepay for the treatment before being seated. Unacceptable arrogance and scheduling disorder. Patient Beware!

About Front Desk: Millie runs the front desk and apparently heads the staff. Unfortunately she has much to learn about proper scheduling and consideration toward patients/clientele. She treats people as if in a walk-in clinic rather than a private dental office.

About Hygienist: What a disappointment! Very fast, messy and distracted. Water splattered over eyes during procedure but she seemed neither to care nor be bothered when told.

Having been a patient of Dr Gross back in the late 80s and the work he did with the veneers, I would certainly recommend him to anyone who wish to have a dentist and staff that care about their patients. It was always a pleasant atmosphere and professional. I think I was one of the first patients to have crowns done in his office. If I was still living in N.Y. I would still be his patient.

I've been going to this dentist for nearly all of my life and every year the service declines. Though the office has gotten a makeover, the people are still the same. The receptionists are usually rude. They seem to be annoyed when patients inquire things of them. They don't seem to be organized. Last time I visited on an emergency appointment, they did not have my name on file. Not to mention that the office was so crowded that people were awkwardly standing in the middle of the tiny waiting room. Despite the size of their office, they seem to book more people than they can handle. (At the current time, their next available appointment is in March) Sometimes doctors don't come in which make the situation all the more problematic. As I previously mentioned, I have been going to this dentist since I was a child. When I was younger, the dentists were friendly as were their assistants. Now, I'm an adult and they seem to have very little patience with me. They are very hesitant to give anesthesia when I request it and they get very annoyed when I tell them when I'm feeling pain. I don't know how they treat children now but I would recommend that if you want anything other than cleanings for your kids (and yourself), look elsewhere.
