Dr. Cavaretta is a talented and conscientious dentist. although he always mentions the advantages of more costly treatments, he will also try a less expensive, and sometimes creative way to solve a tooth problem. I know that his work is good because it lasts. He is a quiet, unassuming gentleman who seems to care more for his patients than earning more money for himself. He is definitely my favorite of a lifetime of 5 different dentists.

About Front Desk: Mrs. Cavaretta has always been at the front desk until their recent move to Applegate dentistry. She is a no nonsense type of person, but I always found her to be pleasant and helpful to me.

About Hygienist: my hygienist, Linda, is very gentle, but thorough. She is very friendly and personable. Even as I age,and would expect gum problems, my gums have never been healthier

Hygiene time: 45

I don’t usually write negative feedback about businesses, unless I feel strongly passionate about a disservice given to me. This dental facility is extremely archaic. They do not have a computer scheduling system or a fax machine. Patient’s files are stacked vertically and horizontally like a hoarder. It’s 2011 and I believe every medical facility should have a basic fax machine to send current medical info, or to update insurance coverage info. The place is messy and smells old with a hint of cigarette smoke. The secretary is the main problem because she has dementia. She has also been rude to me more than once. I heard her talking about another patient in a negative way while I was in the waiting room “totally unprofessional.” When I came in for my appointment she was confused and said that I cancelled my appointment, they had the names confused. They didn’t take me after I drove all the way there because my new insurance card was not in their “paper” system. I called my insurance company right away and they stated my insurance would be updated to their system instantly. Unfortunately the old secretary and the out of date facility would have to wait days for snail mail to arrive by horse carrying this letter. If the crazy secretary would have just picked up the phone to talk to my insurance company or just invest in a fax machine I could’ve kept my appointment. I have been a patient here for a long time, but this is the last straw. It is too bad because the lady who cleans my teeth is really nice and does a good job. They need to upgrade their computer system and their dated secretary. I will never go back there. Word to the wise… stay far away from this place.

Office is filthy, cluttered and equipment is old. Dentist and staff are very unprofessional. Stay away from this facitilty at all costs! This man is located on the corner where I live and I choose to drive 10 miles to my currect dentist instead.
